“Why would I lock my door?” Why would someone be that naive and dumb..:.
@NightEyeStudio19954 жыл бұрын
Some people live in areas were almost nothing happens so they grow up with this sense that bad things only happens in big cities. They don't lock their cars because they have never had to worry about car theft or attackers so they have a hard time understanding people who do. The whole "You worry too much" is mostly because they're never have to worry about it themselves.

@@barkbark5265 Nah not really man, especially not back in the early 90's. Most rural towns in Oregon still have zero cell service, especially the coastal towns. Most people own firearms and conceal carry to make up for the lack of law enforcement... Still kinda wild west out there.

@@NightEyeStudio1995 where I grew up we never locked our doors. Now I live in Utah and I just had my locked car broken into a few weeks ago. I have heard of storied where people don't lock their car doors but they don't leave any valuables and it's better to leave the doors unlocked so thieves don't break your windows and stuff trying to get in. Btw they just jimmyed open my door so my car didn't look broken into. I really didn't notice till a little bit later that someone had even broken in till I saw a few things different in my back seat and the knife my dad gave me was gone from my glove compartment.

You know I understand there used to be a society we lived in where locking doors and such was not really necessary because people were mostly honest and looked after each other. However, today's society is not that idyllic. Truthfully, it never really was. People just believed it was. No one believed criminals were as prevalent as they really were and are. Some people still live like this due to their "Rose-colored Glasses". I wish we did have that world, but it is a dream that never existed. I was told at my first job with NASA that I didn't have to lock my car doors at work because we were on a military base and MPs and NASA Security came by three times an hour. I still locked my doors. Ironically, it was while working that job my wallet was stolen for the first and only time. Great stories with wonderful lessons for all of us. Thanks Let's Read! @Sandra Gross First of all, you can't use a 2000 year old book of fairy tales as "evidence." Secondly, you make a lot of claims here, none of which have any evidence or basis in fact. "Humans are made up of energy." What does this even mean? Do you even know what energy is? It's "energy is the quantitative property that must be transferred to an object in order to perform work on, or to heat, the object. Energy is a conserved quantity; the law of conservation of energy states that energy can be converted in form, but not created or destroyed." It's physically impossible for a person, or anything at all, to be "made of energy." Energy isn't some nebulous material things are made from.
