@vantheghost9588 Жыл бұрын
Something is kinda off about that story. I think loads of information were left out to make it seem like the professor is evil and is picking on the girl for no real reason. He definitely is cruel for berating her in class, but there has to be some kind of catalyst to why he’s singling her out.

I have a creepy story. When I was 18, my boyfriends mom and step-dad bought 90 acres of land up north. The property apparently had been vacant for years and the local hunters had gotten used to hunting deer on the property and kept trespassing. His step-dad got really frustrated and bought private property signs that he put up around the property. They were in the process of building a house up there, so they were still living in the city four hours away. They usually went up to the property every weekend. When they went back up, all their private property signs had been taken down and a gutted deer carcass left behind. He put up new signs, and they would be gone the following weekend. Then while at the property, he spotted two men walking on it. His step-dad confronted them, told them to stay out or he would call the cops. One of the men got into his face and threatened to kill him. They reported them to the police. The cops told them the men who are trespassing had lived for years at the property next to theirs .they were part of a bike gang and the man who got into his face had a rap sheet a mile long including a homicide charge. The police said these were not sane people and to avoid and ignore them at all cost. He suggested building a fence around the property perimeter. The cops were no help. So his step dad purchased no trespass signs that said "anyone in violation will be shot on sight", and put them on posts he cemented into the ground. Two weeks later I was spending the night at their house in the city. His mom woke us up and told us we had to go. She was a mess. I soon figured out why.....in their front yard, someone had placed the no trespassing sign from up north ,with the pole and cement block, in the middle of the front yard. These men had figured out where they lived, dug the signs out, drove four hours and stuck the sign in their front yard overnight. All of this because they didn't want to stop hunting on the property. Psychos.

I was a freshman (like 9th grade) and never told anyone that I was taken special education classes because I don't want to be treated differently or teased anymore. (Also it was way before that I found out that I have Asperger's, so it explains why I have a hard time social with other individuals and even had few problems with subjects like English/writing.) I had taken the culinary class for the first semester, hoping that I'll enjoy cooking even more. However, it turned out to be the opposite. I had students picking on me because of my internet in Manga and asked if I had taken any drugs which I assume that they're trying to start up rumors and having a little fun since I came off too slow in class. When I failed the exams because I couldn't spell certain words and definitions of those said words, that teacher called me out in class on why was I failing or wasn't do anything right. Every students turned to me and waited for my response. Because of my negative experience back at middle school and poor communication skills, I didn't say anything. Once they went back to their things, I rest my head down the deck with my arms folded and tried to cry quietly. That happened twice or three times. Instead of pulling me aside or ask me to stay and talk, that teacher called me out in front of every students in that class. Thankfully after that semester, I had transferred to the next class that expands my creativity and love for flowers. At the time. I know that being a chef is out of reach for me and I'm better off cooking for the family instead of dealing with horrible people.

Hey Sky, I'm so sorry to hear your story. This world is so full of nasty individuals who dont respect other people's feelings, backgrounds or their disabilities if they have one at all. Some teachers serve no purpose in this world but to destroy and hurt young childrens lives for their own selfish amusement, thankfully they end up in prison for being so cruel and soulless. Others simply bully students to satisfy their own narcissistic cravings I myself had an eerily similar experience to yours way back in 8th grade. I didn't specifically take Special Ed classes back in grade school but I did have an IEP (Individual Education Program) because of my visual impairment (legally blind). I was assigned a teachers aid to read out what was on the board and sometimes made an enlarged copy of papers in case the font was way too small to read. She also helped me whenecer I needed to ask questions. She was an amazing lady. Anyway. Back to the story. 8th grade was different. We had that two hour block schedule where we go to a different subject every two hours of the day, four hours (2 classes) before lunch, then recess. (Basketball court and tennis for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Playground for 5th grade and below) back to class for another three hours. It was time for me to go back to writing class, with the same teacher who taught math at a different hour. I went in and sat down along with all the students. I never had issues with students picking on me except for a few here and there. All else I got along just fine no problem. My writing/math teacher was this short Asian guy who said he was born in Saudi Arabia but was Asian. No beard, almond shaped eyes and a tan yellowish skin tone. He was a jerk and hated a select few students including me. One day, we had just come back from lunch to go back to writing class when the teacher was giving role call for attendance. I remember he looked at me and eerily waved his hand and said Hi Jamie. You could imagine I was cringing. Then he had us do this semi-get to know each other thing when we had to answer his question of what's your favorite subject. When he got to me and asked me what I liked. I told him I liked writing which I did. Then he replied with, "then why do you struggle??" I got furious and turned around to see my assistant's face go pale for a moment in perplexity for what he just did. I was furious and stood up and said I passed my previous writing class just fine what are you talking about? He started laughing at me along with all the students. I was furious. The rest of the year I was fairly lonely. I didnt have too many friends except for this one kid who had to move so I hadn't spoken to him ever since. Once high school hit I was pleased to finally be without a helper and be on my own. Thankfully I had eye surgery to help correct my vision and got new glasses. All I did was sit at the front row seats to see the board clearer and was doing just fine. As high school went on and I got my first smartphone with a good camera. On rare occasions when I couldn't see something on the board I just simply took a picture of it to zoom in on what was on there to write it down on my notes. It isn't our fault we had defects like this. Its sometimes genetics that cause us to have mild disabilities that sometimes hinder us from getting around in life. But we find ways to get around. I also had a culinary arts teacher sophomore year who was a jerk. I was assigned the fifth row from the board so I wasnt able to see the notes she put on the projector well plus used a tiny ass font I could barely read. She would always walk around or from her seat see everyone's notes and would blurt out, okay, everybody's got their notes written down except for one". Which was me because I couldn't see the board and also she prohibited people taking pictures of the notes. She was a strict jerk. I later requested a schedule change to a new class which I am thankful did. I enrolled in a study hall class where students could catch up to my regular class work from other classes in which this course was only exclusive to students with IEPs. Thankfully the rest of my high school years went great in fact I got a girlfriend there as well I'm still with today! I'm glad those days of being taunted in schoil are over and am now taking college classes to get a degree in Business. Everything is possible! Despite what we've been told. Its pissible to be successful even if your writing skills aren't exactly up to par you can still succeed no matter what! :-)

@Onion Face so just simply hide and never say anything? That's your best advice? Sometimes this world is like a roll of the dice, you win and you lose. Doesn't mean that you should live in fear that you MIGHT....MAYBE cross someone who is a genuine psychopath. You see warning signs from afar because you weren't actually there. In hindsight it's always easier to pick apart this and that that you could have done differently. It doesn't always work that way when you are the one in the moment.

It's sad the fear the teacher on first story felt, I live in Canada and tbh find it soft, I can just picture how she originally approached the dog owner, then kind of stalked the wrong lady trying to find out her address, I guess Catelyn showed her how, great video thanks

I had a professor once that tried to make the entire class feel stupid for not understanding chapters assigned to read that he had not covered yet. I was sooo pissed I raised my hand when he treated to leave and said “so you are angry with us for not understand a topic that has not only never need address in anyway but also you have never taught to us?” He just looked at me in shock, I followed up with “please by all means leave I will make sure to inform the dean that you expect us to pay for classes we are too teach ourselves the material. I pretty sure we pay tuition to be taught.” He told us to reread the material and came back an hour later to start covering the material like nothing happens. I will be damned if you are going to get paid a salary and not freaking work.

No but she did harass me and my friends all the time thru out middle school and multiple time we would receive threats from her and multiple times we brought it to the administrations attention and still they did nothing it was brought to a head when they thought the best thing to do was to have an intervention of sorts we all told her our stories of being bullied and harassed by her and she just sat there smugly smiling it wasn’t until high school junior year did something actually happen to her she was reported to the principal and was suspended for two weeks

I had a college professor that was primarily a criminal Justice professor, but for some reason she was teaching a child psychology course for the elementary education students. We had her for about a week and students started complaining to one another about how she didn't seem to know what she was talking about in her lectures. She would just read from the text book and she would pronounce psychologists names like Piaget incorrectly (she would say "Pie Get"). When we took our first test she had all of these trick questions on there and many students got an unfair low grade. She thought it was funny and laughed at us. Finally, a few students went to the dean of the Psychology dept and reported her. Well, after the dean had a conversation with her, she came into the class and screamed at us for 20 minutes about telling on her and was slamming her hand on the table and it was actually really scary. Nobody was allowed to leave because she said of anyone walked out that door she would know they were one of the students who snitched on her. She threatened that she had all the emails with students' complaints and got to read them. I guess the college was kind enough to keep them anonymous.... really?! She said that if she knew who it was that their grade would suffer. A lot of us couldn't drop the class because it was at the end of the year and there's serious deadlines for the education program. After that we just suffered through. I came up and asked her for an extension on an assignment... I don't remember why... I think I was sick or something and she said, "Well it depends... are you one of the people who told on me?" I said "no" and she said "OK then yes". The final exam was an absolute debacle. The college just let us all pass with a "complete" because she was trying to fail everyone.

I love the fact that the OP in story one is a self proclaimed “paranoid person” yet had no problem trolling a complete stranger in a bad neighborhood...twice. Not saying she deserved to be threatened, but the phrase “stay in your lane” exists for a reason, and most “paranoid” people do just that. She brought it on herself and I hope her false sense of entitlement disappeared after this incident.
