Francis has all the attributes of a cult leader. It’s spooky how a single charismatic guy like that can exert his influence to control people’s behavior like that. @@cheeseburgersuperior1874 I got distracted when I posted so didn't get the whole thing in. In any case, they have to consider whether or not they are ready for that culture. It will be their tradition in their country, and they want what they consider traditional men. I will refer to American example, where my parents went to church. They would get young men seeking "traditional" woman (because "feminism has gone to far" or something), but they could not find the exit door fast enough when they learned what it meant there to be the "traditional" husband in that church. I still agree with OP, that if that is what they want, then find one. Don't try to break anyone after the marriage to force them to fit. In the story in question, it crossed the line into mental and psychological abuse. It was a matter of time before it got physical. Yeah she slapped first, but only after the lies, manipulation, and mental abuse, and she had the good sense to leave.

For the first story... OP, if you see this: 1.) Whatever was happening with Stephanie, you need to let her go from your mind and heart, decade-long friendship or no; she was possessive and abusive towards you, and clearly wanted to keep you socially isolated from others. Hell, maybe she was even in love with you, and fled out of panic for revealing her feelings, or even to keep some measure of control by cutting you off before you potentially could to her. Please, consider speaking with a therapist if you can, it may help you more than you know. 2.) PLEASE go to a doctor and get your fingers checked out - Stephanie might have damaged your joints by pressing so hard onto them. If they cannot help you, well... Maybe try finding a witch via those forums that helped before? It's better than nothing, even if you're skeptical of it.

I thought that lady was as crazy as the guy. Maybe I saw things different Maybe I'm older but I see two people who are young and they don't know exactly what they want yet. I've never believed in marriage so I've never done it but I've had a 11-year relationship and two others under 5 years one four and a half another one and a half that I've had a bunch of relationships short-term friends with benefits. Now that I'm in my mid 40s you start looking back but one thing that I've had great ex partners and most of them I'm not one to stay friends so I haven't really heard from him but no one's ever reached out to me no stories of trauma or anything because I try to do my part to be a decent person be there like she said what she was looking for a partner. That being said I don't think she quite knew what that meant at the time some people understand early on I was blessed in that sense not really religious but I like that term then what it represents and I had an idea what I was looking for in the partner I'd figured it out by the time I was 25. I started dating When I was older cuz I was sheltered and but I got out there had some awkward first dates learning how things work but once I lost my virginity at 22 I had some wild years there as I navigated the waters and met wonderful people some worked out some didn't but it gave me a chance to find out what I was looking for. When I was 25 though I had my first rear relationship It was that year and a half one well about a year and two months I think. Kind of knew what was going to end but it went on longer than I thought because we both loved each other. It was older she was 38 I was 25 but there was a real connection there and she was the first woman who treated me as an equal gave me such respect all the women before were childish like me You were grown-ups but childlike growing ups. I owe her so much for let me know how a real relationship works. That your partners that you respect each other that you don't tear each other down and fight over silly things. From then on I was always Frank with what I was looking for some girls really like that some girls thought I was being demanding but that's how I knew they weren't meant for me and that was okay We might like someone we think Lost after him but as you get to know him even just a little bit you realize this isn't a person for me We have different values in life that are going to come to a head.
