Dang we might be the same age (realizing that made me feel pretty old 🥲). I've also been listening to him for a while, probably 2-3 years. I'm turning 23 soon 😔. Feels like I was a teenager a couple of years ago, but it's been a while. COVID really stunted my mental growth, messed up my sleep schedule and left me with a lot of depression and anxiety. However it's a few daily comforts like let's read, be busta and southern cannibal that help me sleep soundly and my life's turned around for the better lately.

In first story i am an American but i still let my family choose both of my late husbands. They were both wonderful men & good faithful husbands & good providers. I will always love them both. Our "pickers" are more often than not, broken. The two men, that they chose for me, were perfect, as we had all of the same interests & enjoyed the same activities. We agreed on nearly everything. I miss them so much. There is no " 3rd time's a charm " for me.

I feel bad for all the innocent victims in these stories! I'm glad the woman was stopped after hurting someone and that the couple was caught in some of them. The couple could have just worked to get valentines for each other. And no one should pick up a hitchhiker. That could be dangerous. By the way, I liked the intro and ending of the video. Another series of awesome narrating and great true story writing! Not sure if you edit anything that you receive or just read it as given. If it's the latter, I have to give props and mad respect to this subscriber family! It's hard to write out a story when it's not something we do all the time. We tend to use the same words over again, run on sentences, and have trouble describing the picture we have in our minds eye. But here we are and you all are killing it! Burned human flesh smells like e.g. cooked semolina (with milk) that accidentally burnt, at least that's how it smelled to me and others. When I was in jail ~3 decades ago for selling 420, another woman in an isolation cell was on fire on a Saturday afternoon - now everybody who's been there at some point in life knows, the least busy time in women's prison is the weekend, it starts Saturday after lunchtime and it's relatively calm so you can take a nap if you're lucky, which means it took a while til guards got to her, put out the fire and brought her to the hospital - however we only heard a bit of a commotion but didn't hear her scream, which was extremely odd to all of us and led some to theorize about "spontaneous human combustion". After learning from other inmates closest to her cell, that she's been wearing her night gown, we quickly experimented around and the fabric turned out to be highly flammable - so others theorized, that she also could've set herself on fire when lighting a cigarette, which was still allowed back then. She didn't have high chances of survival and died 2 weeks later in that hospital, which is a shame bc she would've been released a few days later. Due to me also going home shortly after that, I've no idea what really caused that fire and/or if there's ever been an investigation into this mystery. The whole occurrence left lots of unanswered questions for sure. RIP

@@jojowynne233 Well, thank you so very much for your concern, that's really lovely ... tbh I'm extremely sorry, she was on fire and died in hospital so shortly before going home ... in my mind it's kinda like she stayed in prison forever, bc to me a hospital is just another prison (after prison), she was NEVER able to leave again and I can relate to her a lot due to having been in hospital after a life changing accident for months; but at least I left it alive. We weren't befriended nor talked to each other, I barely knew her, bc her cell was in a completely different part of the prison, so we had other friend groups and ran in different circles, but I saw her very randomly during those ... half hour in winter, 1 hour in summer walks outside in fresh air. I heard from others, that she'd been brought to the psych ward several times and every time she returned to prison, I noticed that her "zombie walk" had gotten worse due to all the meds she's gotten - this "zombie walk" is a very unique way of super-carefully putting one foot in front of the other and I've only seen this way of walking in heavily medicated and/or almost sedated fellow inmates. That "burned semolina smell" was all over the entire prison, you can't forget something like that easily, but I'd be hard pressed to turn this into a story for Let's Read worth watching, bc so much is basically based on rumours. Of course I don't think about this all the time, but sometimes there're stories like the first one in this video, that definitely trigger my memories of this tragedy.

The stiletto in the head i’ve seen done, In my childhood home we lived on a main road that ran from the town centre down to all the private housing estates and a couple woke me up screaming at 3am were on the other side of the road, they were screaming at each other, then he turned to walk away & she took off the shoe and smashed it into the back of his head, he was shaved bald so you could see blood immediately, he had it streaming down, I woke my dad as he is a retired police officer so he grabbed his clothes and his phone (time of the nokia 3330) he rang for police & ambulance, made he was had to detain her as she was trying to keep hitting him, my mum came out with a tea towel to put around the heel, a bottle of water to try and flush it due to the bacteria on the heel & make sure he didn’t pull it out which he was trying to. So that was a fun night as turned out I was the only witness as everyone ignored it & only woke when the sirens turned up.. so I had to give a statement, didn’t have to go to court as she pled guilty as it was obvious what she had done.. Weirdly that exact spot on the road a few years later a young girl went to cross the road as her sister was at out neighbours house (she was dating the neighbours son) She wanted to show her sister her school uniform as it was her first day to highschool! She stepped out and didn’t look, an SUV hit her at 30mph, due to the height it hit her head directly on the hood! I feel like that part of the road is cursed or something.. Just ladies only use your stilettos if you are being attacked its not nice to use just because your partner is a dick

Police can lie to you during interrogation. They have tactics to make you feel comfortable so you can open up to them. They will also gauge how you are before the questions begin in order to see how you act if they suspect you're guilty. Its good when they are successful at putting away criminals, not so good if you're not at fault. Theres huge stigmas going around for anyone that uses substances.

I just found out recently the only thing Police are not allowed to lie about is results of forensic evidence that they don’t have. They can’t say we found your fingerprints at the crime scene. They can say we found fingerprints at the crime scene are they going to match yours? When it comes to people that are on substances I hear what you’re saying. I don’t get how police can interview people that are high or drunk because their mind is messed up. It makes no sense but in that case of the guy that had the auto shop, after hearing what they did and why, then you think who cares, lock them up.
