@roscianyt2 жыл бұрын
@@chmodrashminda5053 No it's wrong. "Literally" should not be used here either. Your sentence "it s correct what yu talking about," should be "They are correct, what are you talking about?". The Oxford English Dictionary lists about 500,000 words; however, you cannot pick one at random, words must be chosen and used correctly. Re-read the poster's sentence. He's incorrect. I point these out not to make fun of someone but instead because this is an English tutorial channel.

Good lesson. Your definition of cutting corners focussed on money, but it can be used in another way too. Basically it means taking the fastest route to a goal. But this can lead to errors being made, just as when you cut the corners when driving you hit the curb. So, for example, I am learning to play the piano using an instruction book, but all the endless practicing of scales is tedious, so I skip that to get to the interesting stuff. I cut corners. However, because I didn’t do all the recommended exercises my playing of scales is weak. Another example, I’m making a cake. The recipe says mix the sugar and butter first before adding the egg. I cut corners and just put all the ingredients in together. The cake came out bad!

Prada launched a new comfortable tshirt and it sold like a hot cakes withing a week . Yesterday one of my close friends hosted a party and he left out me in the cold in his wishlist guest column. On my birthday i remembered that i wanted a Louie vittion watch and for that i literally cried for a moon . I haven't gone to Starbucks ever others i have to cut corners to save my expenses . My brother's laptop was stolen right under his nose . I guess i back the wrong horse right now . Last night i worked against the clock to complete my work which was given my very mean teacher. I always jumped the gun before anyone else complete their questions and trust me sometimes i do get scolded for that . I move heaven and heart to achieve this prestigious present thanku so much for that i do love that. Many students save their skin when teachers asked for the most naughtrious student in the class .
