You know what I love about these videos. Dave seems happy! He's always been open about his depressive episodes, and how he thought leaving Late Night would send him into a pit of despair. But here he just looks like he's enjoying life :)

The brilliance of this segment is undefinable. Absolutely top comedy, AND warm and lovely. Dave in peak form, and Barbara is the perfect sidekick. Difficult to know exactly who plays “straight guy” to whom. The elegance .. really. Simplicity and elegance.

Ms Gaines' show is the best. Despite her inability to self-filter. Glad she is over her recent illness and/or work on The View. I don't want to sound like I'm speaking ill of someone who is likely dead, but the colors of the building and the colors of the subject played off each other very well. Mr Letterman has an eye for composition.

Dave That was a familiar and wonderful photo of a hotel guest! You were almost correct about the location of the original art deco hotels which are located on Collins Avenue in South Beach. That photo really captures the essence of the old days where those hotels were filled with seasonal and retired guests. You will really find fascinating the documentary, “The Last Resort”! It takes audiences on a journey to the iconic Miami Beach of that era through the lens of young photographers Andy Sweet and Gary Monroe. With cameras in hand, they embarked on an ambitious 10-year project to document this unique chapter in the city's history, which would soon be erased by the turbulent 1980s. Featuring interviews with Pulitzer Prize winner Edna Buchanan, filmmaker Kelly Reichardt, photographer Gary Monroe, and more, The Last Resort is a stunning testament to a community all but forgotten...until now.

Dear Dave: I would like to tell you that when I was applying to grad school, I chose Purdue University over other universities only because I was thrilled by the idea of living in Indiana: I wanted to see where you came from. The only reference I had about Indiana was you, and I thought it was going to be a great thing to see (and live in) the state where you came from. While I was a student there, as a side entertainment, I had the marvelous opportunity to be a "tourist". I visited many small towns, beautiful towns. I want to thank you for motivating me to study at Purdue University only because you came from Indiana. Wishing you the best in life.

I love the Bison, handsome and very American - lovely photograph. A little too close to those Grizzly bears. They eat people and don’t like anyone near their cubs. I hope there’s a quick exit plan in case and watchful eye that none sneak up from the side. True about the woman. It tells a sad tale about the elderly in America. Sitting alone all day can’t be good for anyone’s state of mind or health. Thanks for bringing it to attention. A reminder of the loneliness of our seniors and our fellowman. Be kind.
