I realize Teri Garr’s an actress and worked in Hollywood, but I'm impressed that she quickly named two films that Lillian Gish starred in - two films that were released over a hundred years ago (around 70 years ago when this aired). While some commenter in here had stated that Teri had already contracted multiple sclerosis at the time she appeared in this Letterman episode, you’d never have known it at the time (not sure if it was even true or not). I _did_ learn, however, that she was stricken with MS, by middle-age… In fact, her symptoms were visible in those couple of Friends appearances (the camera angles masked her limp, best they could).
