I see it like this: Before this channel was created, other fans probably uploaded clips they recorded off the TV on this website or others. For whatever reason, they got deleted or removed. Requesting the clip directly from the source is probably the best option.

I do know there are other ways to watch things. I just think it's interesting how these things can happen. Ernie Kovacs died over a year before I was born, yet I grew up seeing his stuff because my dad was a big fan, and he sought it out. (Remember video cassette recorders weren't widely available until the late 1970s, so we'd have to see things like the Nairobi Trio on retrospective shows. I don't even know if much of his stuff is online now.)
