I very never enjoyed any of the VE Schwab books I've read, but everyone I know loved them. I've very hesitant to read Addie.

Not going to lie - don't feel like picking any more up from her after this one! I have heard this one is very different from her other stuff but still not for me.

I own around ten books from VE Schwab because I LOVE her concepts... But man, the execution is sooooo poor (in my opinion, of course) that I never end up enjoying it in the end. On some occasions I've been able to do okay with one of her books and then the sequel totally ruins it for me. I don't think I'm picking her books ever again.
