I have always favored French onion soup when I'm in the mood for that hot and stringy cheese comfort food. I would have never thought of doing the bread and cheese topping to another kind of soup, say perhaps an escarole or Italian wedding soup ect. Thank you grazia for the idea! Every time I couldn't love you and your food more, I'm pleasantly surprised by way of a new recipe or a family tradition shared with us all, feeling like family coming home on a Sunday for dinner. 😊

When I go to a Restaurant and they offer soup or a salad, I always get the SOUP, even if it’s 90 degrees 🥵 This Video has inlighter me how SOUP COULD BE MADE rethink SOUP, Grazie Grazie Grazie.

I'll make/eat Soup for about 6-7 Months per Year, I live in the California Desert, there's MONTHS that it doesn't get close to 90 even at 2 in the morning 😮 There are a few soups that I make in the Hot Season, but I have to say a nice Big COOL Salad, with some Deli Meat, Boiled Eggs, Avocado, Fresh Tomatoes, Raw Zucchini or anything else that's Harvested in the Spring/Summer is VERY refreshing and something to look forward too...personally I'm looking forward to my 1st Pot of Chili of Fall, my last pot was at the end of May when it started getting 100f every day.🥵

Mmmm 😋, this would be the perfect soup to have in the winter! Fix yourself a small bowl, bring it to the couch, wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy while watching TV! Oh yeah!!! 🥬🥬🥬🧄🥖🧀🍲🥄

Nice Recipe, when it comes to Bread and Cheese Topping, my Family LOVES it, so I just layout all the Bread on a Cookie Sheet, add the Cheese and Broil for a few minutes and then the Family can cut, tear or leave whole the Bread and Cheese and add it to the Soup, plus there's more Bread and Cheese for another Bowl or two for each of us. That Ultra Hot Bowl from baking in the oven at 400F+ is too big of a safety issue when it comes to serving my Elderly Family Members.

I’m having a hard time finding fontina cheese in mine italian market due to a recall from boars-Head imports into America 😢😢😢
