Killing grass and starting fresh with elite seed is one of the best things I did for my lawn. Ryan Knorr actually told me to do it. I wanted to overseed for a few years. Thank you for the support my friend! Silica I use is just the medium grade sand from Home Depot if you can’t find it mason sand is the next best thing. The silica I used is about 2mm biggest size to .5mm smallest it’s a nice sand for sure! 😊👊🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾

You can switch depending on if your grass takes the sand well I’ve noticed over the year of playing with sand sometimes the lawn wants some soil amendments to bring more nutrients then I’ll hit it with more sand after a couple months… lawn loves guessing keeps everything fresh 😂👊🏾😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥

Organic matter breaks down over time, most, e.g. topsoils, compost soils etc. Sand won’t break down over time + Sand self-levels, just like the beach 👌only downside would be the lack of nutrients, but our Brah, won't have any issues with that haha

Personally I would’ve scalped, scarified, levelled, overseed then topdress. Any reason why you levelled first? Are you not going to scarify before overseeding to create grooves in the soil to create a seed bed? In the UK we follow a guy called Daniel Hibbert lawn expert. Check him out on youtube when you get a chance. Keep up the great work regardless! Wish we could get tenacity over here but its banned. Had to kill off the whole lawn this year as poa infestation was getting out of hand.

I’m gonna tell you right now my rhinoceros friend 🦏 Turf Titan has changed the 2nd part of the lawn season for me. I’m noticing a deeper green this season, thicker, more lush, less thatch build up … before I did the sand level in this video you see how deep the lawn looks … I mean I’ve never seen it like that and I’ve added 12oz of lawnstar iron and lawn supply iron and it still didn’t look as deep as this. It’s like the grass blades are full of food and it shows… almost like a chubby lawn 😂😂😂 I’ve heard n-ext is good I just haven’t tried them so I can’t compare the two I can only show you results of Turf Titan and it’s ah-game changing 😊😊👊🏾🤙🏾🔥🙏🏾
