Yeah, the good thing about merging echo, lower rank echo couldn't be use to leveling up any echoes at all so it wouldn't be a matter if it get merged so you'll get higher rank echo.

I actually did this and it went by so fast to level 10. But I do the merge manually instead of auto merge. That way I don’t have to worry about locking specific echo.
