Same here. Is the only one I found and ordered. But I am still waiting for it. Also if you are going to play in 4K, you may wait for the 3080 Ti that comes with 20GB of ram probably that will help you play easier games in 4K ultra settings. Because the 10GB of RAM on single 3080, isn't enough. You can see this for example if you try to play the Resident Evil 3 Remake. If you are go on ultra settings and 4K the games uses 13gb of VRAM.

That's cool. I wonder what video card I'll get from them when I've passed 2500 subs :) I edit and render most of my videos on an ARM SBC the Odroid N2+. Does it well enough. 1080p video rendered to 1440p. 7Watt of power consumption maxed out. Now that's making videos without ruining the planet :)

Lucky you. I called MSI to get a replacement fan for a new GL75 Leopard laptop... I was told the the parts store is closed since March and they can't ship me a fan or tell me another place to get one. I can send it in for $60 and they will take care of it...if I'm ok with it taking up to 30 days....but hey glad they could ship you a free GPU...

Maybe a hint regarding NVIDIA’s Titan-3090 driver policy: A short while ago when you selected the 3090 to look for drivers “TITAN” was part of the URL. I’d be very happy if NVIDIA moved in a less dickish direction due to resurrected top-end GPU competition from AMD.

@@jlo5118 Look. If you are able to get a 4080, I would say go for that one. Or even 4090. But if your budget matches around the 3090 price in your country's market, then you could go for it too. Until now I am playing everything with the 3090 suprim x without any performance issues. Everything runs perfect and always in max settings. And I am talking about games like: RDR2 Cyberpunk Resident Evil 2, 3, 4 Remakes, Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy remastered The Last Of Us Part 1 (Even if it has bad optimization) The Plage Tale 1 and 2. Dota 2 Final Fantasy 7 Remake God Of War Doom Eternal The Dark Pictures Anthology (All games) And more. Also I am streaming. My CPU is Ryzen 5950x and I have 32GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16 and NVMe 2 Samsung 980 Pro.

If retinal resolution is indeed "real" then doing the math around our peripheral vision per eye based on pixels-per-degree, each eye can see the equivalent of 16K resolution... HOWEVER! Only the tightest 5-10 degrees of where we're looking are capable of processing that fine detail. Every 5 degrees out from there is about a quarter the detail. So... VR could in theory render on 4K resolution, but with half of it going to where we're looking while the rest blends into our peripheral. This is the technology we need next IMHO.

I ran across you video very good but , it seems all the reviewers miss the ball. Your all using the top end CPU's. I would like to see a test with the same GPU's with an older CPU. EI.. I'm running a I7 5820 with a 2080 with triple 32"s monitors. Looking to buy a 3080 or 3090 but, not sure if it's worth it upgrading the GPU without a new high end CPU and motherboard. Thoughts would be nice as I see people buying not seeing a big increase and I'm thinking there is a CPU bottleneck. Most people could care less about 4K but, 1440 on a triple setup is more inline with the people buying high end cards are for gaming. I run iracing and most Sim racers run triples and a lot of people gaming. Please shed some light. Thanks great channel.

As someone who owns an EVGA 3090 and uses a Sony A8H tv to play, in reality, DLSS looks like shit compared to native 4k. Sure, when you aren't moving, the image isn't moving, its damn near perfect/accurate in terms of quality. The moment you start moving you can see all the issues and artifacts from moving. Not as bad as older version of DLSS, but it still exists, because AI upscaling will never be "perfect". Thus, raw render will always be best. Luckily the games we play, the card is more than capable to play all titles at 4k with plenty to tons of fps.... I think an issue with detail/quality is that a lot of people need reading glasses but don't use them when on the PC like they should. Thus they literally "can't see" that DLSS is worse than native 4k.... My brother is akin to this. Many times he walks up to my desk to see what I'm doing, and he can't read anything, he's like "how do you read with it that small". Well funny enough, everyone in my family EXCEPT ME needs reading glasses. I am the only one that needs glasses to see far away. So, there is that ideal that could be hampering some peoples visual fidelity

About that Blender render you have to STOP using the CPU in the test. Your slowing the render process too much. Take the bmw27 GPU test. Using my 2080Ti only I get 41 seconds with using GPU only. So that score of the same scene of 93 is really bad. And if I enable OPTIX GPU only my render takes 21 seconds. So go to Edit > Preferences>System and make sure you use ONLY GPU. Sorry but it had to be said.

I truly, honestly, don't understand why 2 separate cables to the GPU is necessary. There's only 1 12 volt rail, so how is 2 cable runs better than 1? It's electrically identical. 3960x threadripper + 1080ti I had to upgrade to a 1200watts because I was seeing 850watts (okay it was in stress testing/benchmarking/overclocking but still) 9900k + same 1080ti I see in the 550-600 watts, two important things 1) like a car engine you don't want to run full rpm all the time it's better to have more watts so your psu works less if only for the fan noise 2) I know for a fact (mine exploded in smoke) that if you go above the rated watts damages will happen, mostly your gpu since it's the main power hog and then your motherboard, the 100-200$ you spare on a psu will cost you 1000+$ don't do it ! (cost me a GTX980+psu and some ports on the MB died too) if you have a "gaming" cpu I would recommend at least a 850watts, if you have an HEDT/threadripper a 1000+watts for sure. I think new titles are going to push 16 GB or so at 4K. Call of Duty: Cold War is pushing 8 GB VRAM usage on an arena arcade shooter. As more games include 4K texture packs, devs will push to AMDs 16 GB standard.

You are too honest to get to 1 million subs. You have to fudge the truth a bit like Hardware Unboxed. Make a video comparing AMDs best consumer gpu against the 3080. Turn on all of AMDs special sauce, matched with a new AMD cpu. And compare it to a 3080 with just a mention of dlss and RTX. Then state with conviction that they are about the same, so save $50 and get the AMD.

that's pretty much all hardware channels you're describing here, stopped watching Gamer Nexus for the same kind of reasons 1) they decide the result they want 2) they distort the tests to make it happen, all their content is worthless another thing I could mention is the fact most of them do their testing on open test benches in heavily air conditoned rooms at 20°C which is cheating, guess what, in a semi-conductor factory tests are done at 25°C, 20°C is considered active cooling and out of range in some cases
