You don't have to worry about an upward force on the bolts. All of the upward force is in the lower ball joint as that is where the torsion bar is. the upper ball joint just controls side loads.

I would definitely rather the bds 4.5 coilover kit. But it is significantly more expensive. I’ll do it one day but for now this will do

I didn't have time to watch the entire video but what is the purpose of changing the upper control arms? Does is make the truck ride softer at all? I just bought a 2016 Duramax 2500. It has stock suspension and I'm looking to get a softer ride. I'm thinking about going with Fox 2.0 shocks. Will they make the truck ride any softer? If not do you know of what shocks to get for the absolute most soft ride that my truck can possibly have?

I didn’t lift it. Not here. I now have a 1” block in the rear. But this video the rear is stock

I still have the factory shocks. But it doesn’t seem any different really. Just the peace of mind that they won’t break

Bilsteins are good but they are stiff - I rather go rough country shocks

How did it ride with the torsion keys and shock extenders? I want to do that to my LLY but worried about the ride and wearing parts out super quick from what I’ve been reading.

I think it rides fine. Will be getting fox shocks soon.
