For those who are not yet k30, I was able to level up my generals on the green and blue using 10k sieges of each tiers T11 and below. May be able to get away with less but decided not to test that.

OK, great video. You are teaching me so much already. Only been playing for 6 days 😂 The alliance I'm in the guy has told me not to use seige weapons because they need gems to repair. For a purple sub, T11 100k, T10 50k and T9 50k siege works without wounded. Of course with maxed military research for siege.

Wish you could show what a green or blue sub would take for a low level player like me could use. I don't have any siege high enough to hit a purple. I know it would take longer for a green but some of our Alliance players could only manage something that small. Even I am hesitant to hit a blue at this time since I don't know how high a level of siege I would need and how many. Even if it takes longer I am sure the lower level players would be ecstatic about even such a long slog to get their generals boosted. 😃 I do love it that you do cover many things that help us little guys to get ahead.....

An update: I have successfully hit purple subs with around 85-87000 t11s , 85-87000 t10s and then full layers of 10-15000 t9 to t1s.... no wounded... I have graduated a bit from the green sub days...lol but seriously this worked for me and is doable for someone without anything higher than t11s.....🙂🙂🙂

It can work with lower tiers, certainly. You will just have to significantly increase the number of troops you are using. As a rough estimate, you’d be looking at about double the amount of troops shown in the video

I have no idea how to obtain anything but common subordinate cities. Anything higher level always has a near-zero chance for me to obtain by bidding subordinate city clues in the Subordinate City Search event. So would this work for common subordinate cities that one finds all over the map? And would be advisable for a low-level player (level 16 keep with tier VI troops) to do this to level up generals, after filling all my 4 subordinate city slots with common cities?

Depending on how old your server is, it’d be damn near impossible to find anything higher than green sub cities vacant on the map. Good sub cities get picked up very quickly. You could try bidding during the subordinate city event, but chances are still pretty low, even for green subs. The only other option is to steal them 😁🔪. If your server does KE, that’s the perfect opportunity. But be sure to abide by your server’s rules 😇. Technically speaking, yes, this would work on sub cities of all levels. Would I advise a low level player to do this... probably not. That’s because: first, you’d need to build the troops to do it. At that level, you should be focused on growing and developing. There’ll be plenty of chances to level up in the near future, even with just the general exp books. The other reason is that the exp you get from low level subs is...well...low 😅😂. Might not really be worth the effort. That being said though, I remember when I was still at a lower keep level, I did level up some generals on green subs. I had t10 troops at the time. Then I thought it helped, but with hindsight, probably not that much. I lost troops in the process, which I also had to rebuild. So you are perfectly free to go ahead and do it if you want, nothing wrong with that, but I’d say wait and focus on other stuff in the meantime 😇👍

@@RedEvony - Thank you. That is great information. I was thinking of doing the sub city leveling first and saving the books for later, but you make sense. Also on my server, which is fairly new, there are absolutely no green cities around, as far as I can tell. There's also a server rule about not attacking any city that belongs to an alliance (fine with me, I don't care for PvP myself, but killing monsters is fine). I do know that at low levels, if your march against an NPC subordinate city includes siege engines, you'll lose the siege engines. I guess I'll be satisfied with common subordinate cities and do my best to improve them.

2 reasons 1. It’s overkill 😄 Yes, you could certainly use them, but not necessary to. 2. Players looking to level up on a purple city instead of a gold city likely do not have enough T13 siege and higher to level up on a gold sub. So the recommendation is to go with T12 siege and below 👌

Yes, you can. The only problem is that most of the generals you get from subs aren’t very good 😅

The prison is for generals you captured during PvP. So basically, generals you captured from other players. When you attack subs and you get a general, they go straight to your generals list. So you can use them like any other general you have 👌

For your current level, I think you made the right decision by focusing on the purple sub 👍 Yes, you can definitely level up on a gold sub if your highest tier is T12. All that means is that you will need higher numbers of siege than I used in the video. To start off with, aim for about 1.5-2 times the numbers I used. Also, because of the larger troop requirement, you might not be able to do multiple marches on a gold sub just yet. But that is ok. Take your time, improve and you will get there eventually 👍👍

How to upgrade to level 4 alliance buildings? I cannot find any information on how to have more than one alliance resource spot built at a time. It would be nice level 2 with appropriate alliance science at level 4, could have 2 spots. Level 3 rank top 5 in a battle event earn a third. Level 4 is already tied to an event but may be rank number 1 two times and get the 4th one? I would also appreciate Accurate information on how to move alliances without loss of much of anything to prevent border disputes. Thank you for your time and consideration. P.S. Is there a gems specialist Resource general?

As far as I know, the Alliance Building maxes out at Lv3. It’s not possible to have more than one alliance resource tile open at a time. Iirc moving your alliance building will require you to set/build it again (I might be wrong, but this has been my experience so far). To set, you need troops in the building. The more troops and the higher the level of the troops, the faster the setting will be. The alliance building is rebuilt at its present level i.e Lv3 building comes back as Lv3. Food stored in the alliance warehouse would likely be returned to the alliance members. Not 100% sure on this, but that’s been my experience so far. No specialist generals for gathering gems as of now. 👌

Depending how strong your siege is, I’d say you need about 300K of each. That’s just an estimate though. But don’t spend too much effort building all those troops now. It would be a lot easier when you get T12 siege

Yes, all sub slots need to be filled. You can pick up a random white or green sub on the map for that 👌 As for your siege, it’d depend a bit on your buffs as well, but I’d say try to increase those numbers if possible. Look to something like 150K each. Try it out and see if it works. If you lose some troops, you can build them again later, but at least, you’ll know if the numbers you have now work or not 👍

If your server is a very new server, that might be a possibility. It’s likely though that some people in your server have some purple and gold subs. Ask around and see. Don’t worry though, if they really aren’t there, you guys will get them soon 👌

Yes, it’s possible, but you likely won’t benefit too much from doing that. In addition, if you are at a level where white subs are a consideration for this, then you should be focusing on growth and development, instead of building the troops needed to do this. If you can’t find any higher quality subs, you can always ask to borrow a sub from a friend or alliance member. I’d assume there would be people with higher level subs around 🙂👌

Hey, For a Gold Sub, you can use 300k T12s, 100kT11s.... Monarch gear set to siege... No other troops, no layers and get 0 wounded... You can also gear up your Siege general as your main and only level up the assistant if you're not feeling safe. Siege attack % needs to be 336%...

I usually level up my generals on a purple sub, what about 100k t11, 50k t10, 50k t9 with research for sieges as (adv siege armor at 17/20), (machinist 10/20), (adv siege hp 10/20) do I need to max out all three of these to attack the purple sub without any damage. As for the other normal hp and attack and defense research on sieges they are all maxed out.

Simple answer: No, you don’t You could max those research, that might help, but what you need is to increase the number of siege you are using in all 3 layers. If you have t12 siege, even better

Yes, you could. It will depend on how much siege you have and how strong your siege is in terms of buffs and research. Sorry, I haven’t tried this out with uncommon/green sub cities in a while, so can’t give you an estimate of the numbers you’d need. What you could do is to try it out with as much layered siege as you have. Be careful to check for troop losses after the first hit. You can’t heal/recover lost troops on sub cities, so make sure you check before you go much further.

It’s technically possible, but you would need a ton of t11 siege to do that. Honestly, I wouldn’t advise it. Gold subs are tough to hit and could lose you a lot of troops. With t11s, I’d say Purple is the furthest you should go. When you get higher tier siege, then Gold will be more realistic 😇👍

I’d actually suggest you don’t worry about leveling up on subs at K13 😅😅 At that level, would probably be better sending the generals you are trying to level up to boss rallies as assistants so that they can gain exp. otherwise, use the exp books. Not much benefit to be gained from a white sub 👌😅

Good quality subs cities are quickly taken up, so you most likely won’t find any free good ones on the map. You either have to win them in the subordinate city clue event, or steal / receive them from other players. Yeah, common sub cities are not good enough to level up generals

A couple of my alliance members lent me their subs 🙂 those are the subs I used in the video. I don’t have any gold subs, so whenever I need to level up generals, I asked to borrow their subs, and they take them back once we are done 👌

Our server just recently made a gold Arabia public use for all the server to train upon at any time. An agreement is in place for nobody to claim this sub and for a couple weeks now...it has worked :))

Yes, you can use this technique as long as you have enough troops 👌 You will have to fill up your vacant sub city slots first before this will work. Otherwise, you’d just end up capturing the sub city and won’t level up on it. No, external sub cities are fixed on the map, you can’t move them

You could level up on a purple sub city even with T11 siege as your highest, but it would be highly dependent on the number of siege that you have. Other factors such as your research and monarch gear level (for siege) will also impact this as well. Based on just what you’ve said, I would suggest using layered siege with T11, T10 and T9. Aim to have close to double the amount of troops I used in the video. So that means about 200K troops for each tier of siege. I think that would be a good starting point. If you would rather “bite the bullet” head on, use what you have right now in the siege tiers and “brace for impact”.! You might get some losses, but if they are manageable, say less than 100 dead troops, you could carry on with that and just rebuild the troops later.

Thanks for the information. I have a gold sub so I was looking for a troop estimate. I checked my alt preset for Green Sub. If anyone needs to know, lv5 monarch gear, kings armor for mounted troops I needed only 10k each t5-t8. 40k total siege weapons. I believe this preset was made at keep level 18.

Yes. For a gold sub, you can use the setup shown, without the t13s, but will have to more than double the numbers for all the other layers! That’s the simple solution. You could still do it even without quite meeting those numbers, but it will be a lot more complicated. I don’t know what kind of siege numbers you have right now, but if you can manage the numbers to level on a purple sub, then I would recommend that, for now. It would definitely be slower than on a gold sub, but it would also be more convenient and trouble free 👌

t10-12 siege can get 0 wounded but it does depend on a few factors 1 monarch gear and research level and gear on the general it is possible without gear but a level 1 general can give wounded absolute minimum troops t12 - 200000 t11 - 100000 t10 - 100000 much less likely to get wounded using 120k t10/11 and 250k t12 if you do get some wounded out your wall gear on the general and this should boost them enough gold give 3.3M xp purple give 300k blue give 30k green give 3k Historic subs seem to give 4.7-4.9 and obviously require a much higher attack being 3 x the power of a gold sub ( we have 2 Alexandria on our server but 1 is slightly stronger than the other ) Good luck and thanks for the videos

I use 100k T9 & 100k T10 Siege, never any damage. I run another march with 100k T11 & 100k T12 siege and get the same results. Just saying. Thanks again Aka

i have never even seen a gold NPC city!!!!. green yes,, gold. never

Yeah, unless right at the beginning of your server, you’ll never just see them on the map because most people would have picked them up already 😂

Are you attacking your own sub city? You mentioned a friend had a different color sub then attacked it My server has a permanent NAP.

purple sub: t1-t11 10k siege for each tier according to evonyguide. works at least for green, no empty blues for me to taste nor purples as it is a newer server.
