This is a fun tech to level up, very solid for a non-tanky character. Just a quick note for leveling with wolves/envy: Rigwald's Crest has a good upside giving you wolves quicker BUT BE CAREFUL! the wolves that are summoned by the ring are NOT supported by the same gems that you have socketed in your weapon and that support THOSE wolves. Just keep that in mind if you guys are trying to level with wolves/envy weapons

Balor's Poison Holy Relic build is top tier. 1 button build (besides flasks) and its a minion build that feels more like a cast on crit projectile attack build with 100% crit chance. 😂😂

@@MistahBufo Yep, that's the one I've been building. I'm a pretty new player, only completing campaign for the first time this season. So I've had to slowly gather the pieces to get a functional build, and still have a long way to go (only starting to do tier 1-3 maps). But it's a really fun build and easy to achieve for the most part. You can get an aweful lot of value from just the 2 main skill gems.

Save alterations, spam them on abyss jewels for chance to poison and phys or chaos dmg to minions. Sell jewels as you go, they're probably still quite valuable for people who are minmaxing by corrupting the Best In Slot jewels for good corrupt implicits.

If you want to rush through the campain as a witch you could also just use raise spectres and put as many forged frostbearer as you can, and that's it, maybe link them to spell echo and frostbite or minion damage, it doesn't really matter, they are strong enough to carry through all the campaing all the way up to white maps without even investing on a tabula or anything expensive, and you can just ask for them on the global chat and somebody will give them to you for free. Also btw, being tanky is not important with those guys, because they will instantly kill every single monster and boss they find in a few shots, so you don't even need to worry so much about avoiding things since everything will be dead anyway.

@@mbagusprasojo Sure, it is a spectre the location where you can find one is not an easy one since it's on the Verisium mines when you hold it until the end one of the monsters that can spawn is the Forged Frostbearer, or you can just go to /global 6666 and ask for one on the global chat, people usually will share them for free with you. As for the amount, you can get an extra spectre by leveling your gem, and you can get one extra with Death Attunement, and if you manage to give enough points to your Raise Spectre gem to raach lvl 25, you can get an extra spectre, but to be honest by having 2 should be more than enough to clear the whole campaign and even start running your first maps.

@@mbagusprasojo It's an old spectre that has been added back this league. They are similar to the golems seen here except they're ice explosions and the explosions overlap doing a lot of damage. Not sure if we'll see these spectres again so worth trying it out this league. Best way to get them is to just hop on global 6666 and ask someone for one. They spawn from the new league mechanics.

@@jim0084 Wretched Defiler better for campain. You can kill way off the screehn. I finished the acts deatless with just basic uniques I put in act 1. Choose swords, so I could fly with leap slam. Finished the whole campaing in 4-5 hours deathless.

This looks really fun, will keep it in mind next time I level a witch. On the point of fun campaign alt leveling I recently leveled up a warden to mess around with a tri-ele sword I made and I had a lot of fun leveling in campaign with Ephemeral Edge molten strike once I got the level for the sword as you can just run lots of high ES uniques with Ghostwrithe and high ES+Life abyssal jewels in a Wraithlord. It was super fun having overkill damage while also walking around with 4500-5000 ES, the only 2 deaths I had the entire campaign was to the zombies chaos damage in act 8 sewers.

I recently level up a witch and i was on the same thoughts, good for first 3 acts then falls off. THENNNN I also thought of golems and indeed.. they're OP... I ended up swapping to wintertide brand which was just phenomenal as well for the rest of the acts.. I also went to a few maps to lvl up a bit with that. Thanks for sharing, subtractem!

Thanks for this. Finished all the campaign in a day. LvL 72 new witch. I had most items in stash already so I gave it a go. You cant believe how fast I leveled and completed the campaign. 7 league boots, + speed potion + the onslaught helmet if you like + 11 golem autobombing everything on sight. Who would have thought. It works marvels. Best Campaign experience ever and I play 9 years. I didnt get the safeguard stone golem. Just 9 transfigured fire golems + 1 stone golem + 1 chaos golem

I'm finding the overpowered leveling setups to be more fun than endgame. Playing an RF Chief with adrenaline, buffs and shrines exploding everything sort of aimlessly with animations popping off and not really knowing what's going on is just not relaxing. I find the best time to upgrade and make tweaks is during the campaign. Thanks for bringing up more ideas!

Fun fact: you can use the 'of hordes' golems an an Elementalist to have near permanent guardian blessing uptime. Not only that, but they're great for discharge builds if you couple them with Supreme Grandstanding

How do you gain charges with Supreme Grandstanding? There are only few ways for minions to get charges and all of them kinda inefficient compared to self gain

Coupled with the precursor emblem mod 15% chance to gain max charges, it makes for a fun discharge build

Running an elementalist build with 5 lightning golems, 1 stone, 1 safeguard and 3 spirits of fortune. 100% converted to lighting damage gloves. With svallin and the defense golems, quite tanky and the SoF really pop off the rest of the group with the lucky buff.

Havent seen the full vid yet but wanted to chime in on the rigwalds crest, the wolves summoned by the ring counts toward the total max allowed wolves at any one time and they do not get supported by any gem links you have in your wand enchanted with the same mod. Tried this my self weeks back and opted out of using the ring entirely.

I started a golemancer on ssf a few leagues and had fun with it. It was surprisingly strong in the acts and cleared white maps easily. got a lucky clayshaper and cip drop, as well as the amulet i'm not going to try to spell which carried me to around t10 maps. Ended up dropping the character since +gem levels is basically required for minions and is hard to get on ssf, not to mention how bad the drop rate is on some of the primordial jewels. I've never been a huge minion enjoyer in ARPGs but I would like to see a rework in PoE1/hope they are better in PoE2 just for something a little different. Just having aggressive built in and making dmg less reliant on gem levels would go a long way I think

Switching to the reverberation wand from the wolves/envy feels bad. I think the wolves feel boring though too. They are always a mile behind me. However switching to the double clayshaper and getting the Stone golem of Safeguarding feels incredible! even with just 8 golems I just steam rolled act 8 on auto pilot. By far worth the time to grab a few items.

I Leveled with Perfect Serpent Warriors / Serpent Warriors Spectre at Level 34 ( Perfect have a Poison Aura as a Bonus ) with Wraithlord Helmet you can Annoint Death Attunment for 6 Spectres Out of the Gate . These Guys are really OP during Campaign and Scale Hard Early ( They have inbuild Poison and the Projectiles are Able to Multistrike ( with Multistrike Support ) yea lol . They need Meat Shield ( to Force Projectile Stance " , Greater Multible and Greater Volley Support and Multistrike . Then Minion Damage for the More Damage . Take the Minion Life Wheel that is Right from the Attack speed one ( Near Runebinder ) and take the Minion Life notes ( Near Spiritual Aid ) and you should be good . However these Gyus will Make you Lag a bit , unless you got a good Pc They need some Investment Later but im Cruising T16 while being level 82 already

can do very similar setup with necro / spectres using frostbearers, was full autobomber at lvl 38 or so and sprinted through the campaign with zero issues, never had to stop running cause minions basically 1 shot everything. minion leech makes it feel quite tanky as well. it does require wraithlord helmet though so its not a good option for league start, and who knows if frostbearers will be around next league. was the easiest campaign i ever ran though

I think the game should be a bit slower. It does feel good when you go fast through the enemies but it gets boring because you get so powerful that you can bypass a lot of the mechanics in the game and you end up just throwing up stuff on the screen until everyone but you is dead.

rigwalds crest isnt good idea. Wolves from the ring have no support gems and there's limit on how many wolves you can have summoned.

typically, as it has worked in past, if you have the same effect they stack, so the ring stacks with the weapon enchant, and would also see any supports on the weapon for the enchant, while also increasing summon caps. not 100% if this still works, or works in this instance, but usually does.

Seems really fun. I love twink setups in general, really. I'm curious how this stacks up in late campaign, since it looks like it'll get a lot more scaling out of gem levels than BAMA/Hollow Palm. I always find myself flagging in acts 9-10 with BAMA and Hollow Palm, because they scale well with gear but not really with levels, and I never want to buy a late-act gear (and jewel) setup just to clear the last couple acts comfortably.

I love it. I believed someone say Spectral Wolves/Envy tech could carry you till Act 6 smoothly and so I could just spec tree for something else and it really got me the short end of the stick when I found myself kind of stuck in Act 5. I was "kek, now what" and had to grind a fair ammount of levels to get my end-character setup going to even continue with the campaign, so annoying. If you made the vid a week ago would save me a lot of pain, so I'm really confused that people would complain about it in any way. Good vid as always! Question: How good do you think this strat is for something else than Witch (speaking glad/jugg/trickster)? Would work fine without extra nodes?

I don't know if I'm shocked or amazed by all the leveling tech. Like normal leveling is easy, some uniques help for sure, but imo that is way too much prep, craft, and currency wasted, just to get -2 hours on your campain.

Doesnt work with rigwalds crest anymore, the maximum number of summoned wolves was nerfed to a max of 10 for the character, last league u could get 10 from the ring and 10 from another rigwalds, now u just have 10 no matter how many instances of summon wolves u have... still a lot of fun
