I haven't worked as an RN on med-surge for years and find these videos to be a very good review because what you don't use you can lose. These vids are good to keep information fresh or would be good for information that you may not have been clear on in the first place!!

Glad you think so. Thanks for watching.

Is it unusual to get varicose veins in your thigh? I recently noticed a whole bunch of them on my thigh that were not there before
@LevelUpRNАй бұрын
Although not unusual, we encourage you to reach out to your healthcare provider, who can offer the best guidance for your specific situation. We truly appreciate your trust in us. However, we’re unable to provide personal medical advice. We hope you find the support you need and wish you the very best in your health and studies. If there’s anything else we can assist you with, especially regarding our resources, please don’t hesitate to let us know! All our best, The Level Up RN Team

I like your VDO, but I would prefer you to add some caption to the VDO as it could help a non- native speaker like me to see what you saying which would be easy to understand the contents.

Why is it important to not put knee gauge or pillow for patients with DVT?
@LevelUpRN3 жыл бұрын
We don't want anything that could potentially obstruct the blood flow back to the heart and worsen the clot. So we want to elevate the extremity (like on a stack of pillows or something like that), but not place anything that could put pressure to the vasculature behind the knee. Hope that helps!

Hello, quick correction. For PE the signs and symptoms does not include petichae because that is present only in a fat emboli. I love your videos though! I am currently reviewing and watching everything on your list. Thank you for making these learning videos!
@LevelUpRN2 жыл бұрын
So glad my videos are helping you! Thank you for your kind comment. A fat emboli can travel to the lungs and cause a PE, so petichae would be present in that situation. I’m sorry if I made it sound like a general sign/symptom vs just for that type of PE.

Yep, watching my veins fade away before my eyes was very liberating, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 3 weeks or so the veins were barely visible! I just go'ogled the latest in Mabel Ridenbel’s Vein Solution and after 4 weeks my legs have never been healthier!
