Immortal through her art, I am so happy how she has inspired so many to be confident in themselves, their ideas and their art and her legacy will live on forever through the people she has brought together. Rest in peace

That Pitchfork review says more about the taste level of their editors than it does Vroom Vroom, tbh.

Sophie is music now... There is no other genre like Sophie. Some will try and duplicate it, some will pay homage to it... But no one else can ever be Sophie.

I was so bummed out that she was suddenly gone like that. Very sad. She was a reason I was looking forward to the end of the pandemic. She would have been great to hear live. So sad

I've been listening to electronic music of all sorts since I first saw Gary Numan on SNL when I was like 8 or 9. I am justing hearing Sophie for the first time last night. WTF... She's fucking phenomenal

Her dying is so fucked up. She was the future of music and hearing about her past makes it all more clear: a trans woman raised by accepting unconventional parents who introduced her to raves and electronic music and who nurtured the passion and genius she instintively developed since childhood. A genius in the true sense of the word. I wonder when will we ever be gifted again with someone like her.

Good video. I would just add the 2015 she co-wrote and produced for Namie Amuro "B Who I Want 2 B". That also gave her great exposure.
