Great video! I love twigs artistry, and I vibe that she came from the same country part of uk as me and yet is very experimental and artistic. Interesting to see the full story, really shows how many factors come together. Like if there hadn’t been budget cuts maybe she would’ve pursued therapy more than her own performance. Interesting how racism is what spurred her to have such a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, how something horrible can have a beautiful outcome. I remember seeing an interview where she talked about how encouraging her parents were of her unique creativity, I think it’s one of the greatest gifts you can give a child to support their creativity and not project shame/judgement onto them.
