That chain weighs about 9,500 pounds if they are using the 3605TP Roller chain, which is the largest roller chain available. It weighs 15.5 pounds per foot. The lift hill is 306 feet long ×2 is 612 feet. If you add that up, it would be 9,486 pounds, plus a few extra feet to go around all of the pulleys.

That's incorrect. First off. The drop is 306 feet. The lifet track is at a 39 degree angle ascending. The lift track is 480 feet approximately
