I'm having a problem Lidia, NetHair adds hair to all over the head rather than just the area where cards are! so annoying, i made seam, froze all transformations, it's not working...

you didnt mention what to do when you add more hair it offstes the other hair. Why? and how do i fix that

I did mentioned what to do to avoid offsetting the hair. Make sure you lock down the position of the converted hair by brushing them.

You have to select the meshes in the right order then carefully follow the tutorial.

What is the size of that model, if that hair is 100cm, than that model is huge or not? P you can go above 7 in the viewport steps. Just manually edit the number, so select it press 8-10 and will go higher. This is just a soft-break they've coded in. Many settings have this. Be careful since the viewport will slow down a lot when you have lots of child particles in display.

AS it say, you probably have 1 object selected. You need to have 2 just like in the video

@@RomboutVersluijs But she didn't show or tell us as the audience how she curved the vertices around the head to make the braid so we can use the curves and apply it to the hair net. She just jumped into the middle of the tutorial as if we know how to do the beginning process. It is almost like watching a 2-hour movie but skipping to an hour and 35 minutes. You miss the whole plot.

@@RomboutVersluijs There are tutorial on how to make braids. Their are a few tutorial on the hair net system but not both when it comes to how to make cornrows like in this video. She basically started the video in the middle. How come she didn't explain how to criss Cross the vertices to make the braid pattern. That's important. She skipped over that and straight to the hair net. I heard what she was saying but she never mentioned key elements on how to do the braids

You have to make sure the "Particle Hair" comes after "Amature Rig" in the Modifier Properties.

You either parent the hair to skull or add another armature to the hair and then add the top bone of the head to the proper vertex group

there is a problem that is when im trying to make a Hair bun with HAIRNET addon (where the size of the bun is 1m or so) the size of the hair is really big. I have tried evry possible ways to reduce the hair size but I cant please kindly help!!! thanks

Apply transformation on the bun before you use the addon, it might fix the problem.
