Lew’s MACH 2 Combo Fishing On Lake St Clair!

Fishing the RLDL Topwater Bash 2 on Harsens Island on Lake St Clair and when I broke out the Lew’s MACH 2 combo and things got good! Out with Brett From Fish The Mitt ‪@brettdowdican8019‬ and got on some largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.
Paired up with the MACH 2 was 12lb Seaguar BasiX line and the good old Googan Baits Bandito Bug in natural color, set on a 4/0 EWG hook with a 1/4oz tungsten bullet weight.

When I load up all that gear for top water, I can almost guarantee that I won't get much top water action LOL Thats what it's always good to bring extra stuff to switch it up. Nice catches Joe!

only thing i dont like about the mach 2 is the grips. which is a deal breaker for me. i like the rectangular shaped grips that you might find on some abu’s. not exactly abu’s but similar

I guess that’s what I love about them. I have issues with paddle style grips slipping when it’s cold/wet.
