I've been an airline pilot for the past 6 months or so but I was a flight instructor before that and mostly instructed private pilot students. Your videos almost make me want to go back into instructing! Its easy to forget how fun and rewarding it can be. Great work!

I think it would be really rewarding too, if you are good at teaching. It would be cool to see students pull off a great landing or first solo and think "I did that!"

I listen and I can't get anything done. That guy who was lost sounded like me. I was flying at night and was instructed to make right traffic onto 21(at an airport I was based out of...I was going home) and I found myself and an adjacent airport and didn't realize it until I saw the numbers...Runway 23. The tower was telling me I wasn't at their airport and I didn't believe them. I didn't land and swallowed my pride and was guided home but that was a huge f-up. FYI - home airport CDW. Airport I attempted to land at was MMU. Because of this issue, I voluntarily reported the incident to the FAA. Nothing happened. As for the video, very engaging. I feel the need for 65 and rotate.

I wanted you an Edwin to know that the last video helped me immensely on my landings. The rear camera showed how he was holding the nose too high, and the fix of showing the proper sight picture. A week and a half ago I SOLOED! The reason I got to solo was finally seeing the correct sight picture, and from there my landings really improved. So much so that my instructor allowed me to solo. I credit that video for helping me see what I was missing. Thanks to both of you for all the hard work. Tomorrow is my first cross country! Cheers!!

For the crosswind landing being great, during my training I found that days when it was totally calm and I didn't have to do anything, I'd end up waiting too long to correct when things eventually needed it. When the crosswinds hit it was a constant case of keeping things going meaning better concentration and better landing when they happened. 90 degree crosswinds did mean lots of go around practice.

Well done Edwin. Fantastic! I started watching these videos around two years ago dreaming of doing just this. I now find myself exactly at this point in my training, completing circuits. In the UK the process is different in so many ways, but the principles are the same. Landed my first greaser a week ago, and still on an emotional high from that. These videos have been an inspiration. All the very best.
