I wish every CFI, or at least every reputable flight school, would place cameras all over the plane like this and video every lesson so that you can see what you did wrong, what did right, and everything in between. And seeing from the outside of the plane what changes to the controls do to the planes. Even if it's nothing posted, just to have a record would be awesome.

I flew into 40 hours yesterday with an orange sticky note on my yoke that read; CARB RUDDER TRIM. Not one bit ashamed that I still need that reminder. Every little bit helps.

@@thesecretsaint8178 In the UK (and I'm guessing the rest of Europe too since the syllabuses are almost identical) you generally can do your first solo around 12 hours, and you do the check at 45 total. :D

No, but I can say that my spirit dropped when I went into the new frontier with the hopes of flying a jet. Blue skies were what I wanted to be flying in, but I decided to venture back to the south west to reassess. This isn’t a psa, but there is a silver lining to my story. Makes no sense but actually it does 😂

do you hate your engine, haha. 1800rpm on start. id love to cut that filter open... crack the throttle like half an in, and increase as necessary, should have to raise the engine slowly to 1000rpm not bring it back from 1800...
