I tell you what, aside from the hands, this actually looks real, especially at the beginning when looking around. Genuinely for a few seconds thought it was real helmet cam footage. Only the hands on the wheel let it down, looks so unnatural.

sound is perfect in cockpit view and almost perfect in chase cam view but replay its about 60%. needs to take out that some of that v6 grunt. Sounds more like a 3l v6 rather than a 1.6 L

I think that’s actually what the F1 cars actually sound like from inside the cockpit. You’re hearing the ERS deployment at the lower torque levels.

The way the driver model holds the wheel in GT Sport is jarring. The wheel has dedicated hand grips and yet the driver model holds the thing like he doesn't want to touch it in the first place. It ruins the cockpit views immersion

Couldn't be more right, i was wondering why the hell GTs didn't fix it even the way it looks is so funny that Hamilton would have slipped his hands off the steering wheel, if he insist to hold it like that. And more, the steering in the whole game was horrible, even in this F1 car, the driver turns the wheel so slow and smooth, that ain't right. Besides, not another racing game has the exact same way of holding the wheel, i was fascinated by the way it change the gear but annoyed by how it ruined the way driver holds the wheel.

The sound may be not accurate but the wind feeling is better that the one from codies. I miss that inside the lid feeling at codies. The mirror in this version doesn't seem to be at the accurate position too. But the work is really well done.

You get a little bit of a lower resolution image, but you quickly get used it. The important thing is you feel the immersion. Wipeout is the best racer on any VR platform and I own them all.

At first i was suprised how hard it is to drive that car but now over 200km in, i handles really well. Try beating that 1.27 on Suzuka by RL Hamilton, so far i could only dow low 1.31‘s

Did you make any adjustments to your car settings? I did not for mine; there is an oversteer depending on acceleration its just tricky. On my vid the last turn before the straightaway got me.

When using VR in GT Sport, is there a cockpit position adjustment as there is with non VR? I.e. can you adjust it to sit higher in the car or further back?

If you hold down the start button is re-adjusts the screen. So depending on where your head is positioned when you hold down the button you can control how high or low you sit.
