Joe Rogan suggested Mark's diet recently on his podcast. He's near day 60 and claiming his sugar (including carbohydrate) cravings have entirely diminished. I have subscribed to this school of thought for the past couple years so I went ahead and bought The Primal Blueprint because it is his flagship product. I hope I'm not missing out on important insights only found in Primal Endurance! I would recommend it to anyone facing fat-burning or digestive issues like IBS or GERD, even seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis which are typically gut-related. Obviously consult your physician first, but this is worth a shot for any person who would like to begin their fitness and nutrition journey, even if that means beginning in the kitchen alone. Cheers to good health. hope I'm not missing out on important insights only found in Primal Endurance. Lewis, coincidentally perfect timing with your guest, as always. You should invite your resident psychic on next. We want to get to the bottom of this wizardry!

Very informative video! Mark is like a more life experienced Thomas lebauer. Once you break into the mindset of understanding what carbs do to us and how our bodies use it, there is a moment of clarity and then we comprehend that all the mass marketing and advertising of the mass produced carbohydrate fast food industry has hoodwinked us into craving sugar without realizing it! Ultimately us eating more sweets, candy, burgers, fries, cola, desserts and everything else increases the profits of the gigantic food companies. I guess we need to wake up and realise that I dont need this sugar anymore

I do try to eat a low inflammatory, nutrition dense WAPF style diet most days, but I don't have to. Fasting is healing AND burns fat. I love it. I think you should try OMAD. 22/2. So it is basically about going back to eating naturally like people who live off the land. The junk foods and foods that contain a lot of carbs are created by humans. Someone living off the land would not be eating ice cream, cereal, etc. I watched a video recently that said that, in one ancient civilization, people had perfect teeth because they ate very little sugar. Unfortunately, in our modern society, foods are packed with sugar and ruin our teeth. Most dentists would not be in business otherwise.
@disnalee

I avoid sugar, whole grains, rice, bread, high carb foods, process foods, seed fats, cookies, crackers, cereals, and starchy foods. My low carb diet and fasting has helped me to loose weight and kept it off. I learned my body cannot support high carb diet so low carb diet is the best. Foods choice has a major affect on our health so I go low carbs for body health.

Jordan Oliveira You won’t be fat adapted so you won’t be utilising the fat for energy and it’ll just be getting in the way of your body using sugar for energy, try a strict Ketogenic diet for at least two weeks. Count your macros, get your elector-lights, stay hydrated, stay relaxed. Only after doing that for a month or 6 months can you then experiment with how to include carbohydrates. But yes you could also be a carb type. However it’s sounds like you’re not even getting close to giving your body a chance to adapting to using fat for energy

Hmm, I feel like this doesn't work for pro metabolism and women's hormones in particular. If I eat when I'm hungry I barely get 900 calories in and don't increase strength or lose fat. I make myself eat more, particularly protein, and I start body composition and my hormones are more in balance. Overall health, including hormones, your skin, energy etc all of those indicators of metabolism should be a priority too not aiming for less eating.
