Lewis~ I thank The Lord for you and your ability to share your growth journey. I am a 30 year Army Veteran that suffered from multiple TBIs. The last Traumatic Brain Injury left me completely disabled mentally. I had to re-learn how to talk, walk, personal hygiene Ect…. I lost my home, and all of my financial resources. My greatest challenge was not to allow myself to become bitter. I found your KZbin video during the rehab process and I have been incredibly encouraged and have found needed resources and materials thanx to the professional trailblazers that you interview. You ask the questions that pop in my head when watching your interviews. THANK YOU! Never question the good and light that you are doing on this earth ~ NEVER STOP

I created the 5 minute principle in my life, and created astounding results. All you do is start a project for 5 minutes, then stop. Do this everyday, and see what happens. For e.g., I started writing one page a day for 5 minutes. Soon it took over a life of its own, and I was 54 pages deep in a book in a matter of a week. Try it, and see how amazing it works.

From personal experience I know that we magnetize the good and the bad to us .. I used to have my biggest nightmare that I was so afraid of and brought on myself sick and once I realized the power I have inside me the real challenge is to understand what I can do and how to manage what I am Want and there is no doubt that your podcast is proof that I am starting to attract the good I need and want it just at the right time and place. Thank you so much! And in Hebrew because there is at least one more Hebrew speaker ..

If anyone wants to follow their destress progress, get a Fitbit Charge 5. It tracks sleep and mine tells me my heart rate is higher than resting while I sleep. I'm not waking or moving, I'm just not sleeping deeply or relaxing. This was my wake up call, because bad sleep is awful for your brain. Now I have actual stats to watch as I make changes to my lifestyle and it's motivating me to continue. If there are comparable devices, I don't know. I can only speak to my own experience.

All the gurus on laws of attraction mention how obtaining or attaining anything it's starts with thoughts... now thinking can be perceived as an action so I agree with you there... but if I sat on the couch and wrote 5 things I'm grateful for each day for any multitude of days... as days went by I would be changing my internal vibration... good things would start coming to me because I'm on that vibration. Point I'm making is... YOU CAN SIT ON YOUR COUCH AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE! It just depends on what you are doing on said couch!👍🏼🙂

@Medinilla8192 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that, I’ve lost a lot too and I know it’s hard. I’d really like to recommend meditation. When I do mindfulness in the morning and a loving kindness meditation in the evening consistently for more than a few days the serendipity and flow in my life is insane. I think it’s important not to do it with that as a goal but it’s like a happy side effect of all the other improvements it brings.

I don't believe in Law of Attraction, I think our brain is smarter than being lied to. I think forming good habits and moving away from negative behavior is what really works, even if you have to take 2 steps forward and 1 step back in the beginning. That's also why Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be really effective in treating depression.
@ginobozzi39542 жыл бұрын
So true. This is my whole life 2 steps forward and 1 step back. I just don’t react to it anymore. It’s usually out of my control, it is what it is. Move past it quickly and as soon as possible and don’t dwell on it. True Story
@floydsmithjr79992 жыл бұрын
Law of attraction is misleading. You’re not attracting anything, everything you want is already there all around you. Take a ride down the street, you’ll find large amounts of money, nice cars, good food, people living the life style you want to live, whatever it is, it’s all right there. What people need to do is get off their asses, figure out how to get it, then get out of their own way.
@demigod85222 жыл бұрын
@@floydsmithjr7999 Really? That nice Lamborghini isn't yours. Perhaps a street thug might figure out how to smash the window and hotwire the vehicle to sell on the black market, but he never earnt it. Materialism is bullshit, but it still represents value to the opposite sex, because evolution... abundance... fuck that, I'd rather be a good provider than showing off. What I'm trying to say is that shallow women try to breed "poor" men out of the gene pool which is equally wrong.
@ajoyfullifelived2 жыл бұрын
I think law of attraction and everything like that is mainly a good way of speaking about changing our habits energy and stop being so negative. If you went around telling people stop being so negative it doesn't quiet work. You tell people you attract what you are it just helps people in making those changes. It isn't a lie really it's just said in a gentler way. What it comes down to is we are energy and what comes into our lives is based on what is in our energy since everything starts as energy. It sounds woo woo or crazy until you realize it's mainly common sense....

@@lewishowes Pick 1 thing you want to change. Do one action for 66 days to form a new habit. - whenever I try to make a huge change in 2 weeks it doesn't work. Everytime I've given myself 2-6 months to make a change I've done it pretty easily. Now I know why. This makes goal setting (and accomplishing) a lot easier and a lot more fun.
