I am a board certified MD and indeed, I learned about nutrition's healing effects AFTER my graduation in order to improve my health. Listen to this man. He is a MD with a passion. Passion leads to TRUTH. I learned by my own research what was best for me: My food window is 10 AM to 4 PM. Fast window is 17-18 hrs. You might be different. Just listen with an open mind because there are REAL forces of misinformation for financial reasons. Just think for yourself people. This man has no financial interest to have you eat walnuts, beans, whole grains etc.. He is not a farmer. Some of us went into this profession in order to HELP people. I know that the same misinformation is directing you away from some real MD's who love people. Much love to you all. 😘

The two doctors you mention are pro carnivore diet and that is OK with this video. There is no conflict. In order to decrease the acidity in the body from the meat, we need to eat these foods in addition to meat. No conflict here. @@jonm3388

What a beautiful human being Dr. Greger is. I've been a physician for 30 years now and I share the insights he has gained 100%. Sadly, Western Medicine is in the claws of mighty food lobbies and drug companies. This message has to get out ASAP to as many people as possible. I am dedicating my life to the same message.

I really enjoyed listening to Dr Greger. My mum and dad taught us to cook our own food and to have vegetables. The trouble is junk food is convenient to buy especially for people who can't cook or can't be bothered. Some people don't know how to cook because they haven't been taught. I know at times for me I would be too tired to cook because I had a hard day at work. But having learned that I had high blood pressure in my 50's I had to learn I had to change my diet otherwise it would be pills for the rest of my life which I didn't want to happen. The thing is I have always exercised but it was my diet that caused a problem for me. Now I am onwards and upwards towards a healthier lifestyle.

My old school dietary ways learned from my Korean mom & my ancestors as a child, has worked extremely well for my almost 57 year young body. My mom is almost 80 & still spunky. I stay very active just like her. I am her mini Me. Old school and Old country ways of living are timeless and priceless. Real foods - animal (land, water, air), veggies, fruits, etc...YUMMY! I will stick with what works well without all these modern day layers trying to reinvent the wheel. Staying healthy inside and out...Easy Peasy Simple.🙂

On oat groats: The night before, boil water , add groats, put the lid on and turn off the heat. Leave it on the stove overnight. The next morning, cooking time is about eight minutes. Wow! What a great interview. I’m a fan and I always learn or reassure my path of healthy life style. As a fact, I was born with mitral valve prolapse. At age 23 it started with few symptoms. My cardiologist said to follow up every two years. Ten years ago I started as vegan and by learning from different sources I started a whole food plant based diet. Although I’m not perfect with execution, it was shocking to learn that I don’t have a prolapse anymore. Same with glasses. I used long distance glasses since kindergarten and 6 months after starting my vegan journey, I stopped needing them. Still, I’m 58 years old and I don’t need long distance glasses. Many other significant changes been happening. I haven’t developed any conditions. I don’t use or need any prescription medication. I’m very active and energetic. I’ll share the information with anyone that asks but I don’t take responsibility for their choices. The evidence is overwhelming and I’m really grateful for that first biochemistry class from Dr. Gregger that KZbin suggested. I was fascinated by his information, education style and humor. That’s all it took, a fan and follower was born.

Also. I heard that the SIZE of your food, as in, the size of the particles shouldn't be smaller than what you can chew something up to be. There is conflicting advice because there are conflicting conclusions from different studies. But when you look at what the best studies say, that is, the studies with larger samples, or studies that have other indicators of higher reliability, the best advice is compact your eating into fewer hours ... but start eating early, and stop eating early. That's not complicated.

I absolutely love this content! The School of Greatness is my favorite Podcast and KZbin channel. I often listen in the car and find that the volume is sometimes inconsistent, and I can’t understand some of this valuable content. Have you looked into upgrading your EQ and compression processing? I don’t want to miss any of the life-changing dialogue!

Thank you for this video. I watched it on x2 speed and it was very engaging. I took notes. Thankfully I saw this video b/c I was going to eat carbs, empty calories as I usually do. Now I feel empowered to STOP. Also, I will do my 20 minutes of exercise starting today. I'm also stopping that intermmittent fasting during the day. I will shorten the feeding window but not fast during the day.
