This ranks as one of the most important personal learning experiences that I have ever had "in one sitting". It allowed me to unify a lot of my life milestone events and experiences in an multi-faceted approach to acheiving all types of success in my life. In terms of reflection on my life (I am 72 years old) accomplishments in some areas and "failures to thrive" in other areas, it has allowed me to understand how and why those events and outcomes turned out the way that they did. I really do appreciate your podcast and your choice of how to spend your life inservice to others while acheiving your own personal success in the process!!!

- Pain is inevitable, either pain now which is better later - First things first, priorities first - Mindset: "How" questions rather than "should" questions. 45:31 - Dedicating to create an outcome, an explosion - Book: Take the Stairs: 7 Steps to Achieving True Success by Rory Vaden 49:58 - "When you're experiencing pain, the healthiest and I think like the only way to respond to it is to choose to believe that the pain you're going through is preparing you to become the person you one day need to be for somebody else. " (this is not a full summary) *_And if you're like me, stop watching youtube now. Watching KZbin is a form of procrastination if you haven't done your priorities yet. 3 types of procrastination 1. Classic Procrastination - consciously procrastinating something 2. Creative avoidance - subconsciously creating things for yourself to do so you can do those things and feel productive but it’s really a scheme to distract you from the thing you know you have to do 3. Priority dilution - your attention shifts to less significant but more urgent tasks

The only people saying this, is actually people who can't stay in place for 5 minutes...like they have a worm in their butt... lol... No, the truth is, exercising is not giving you more energy IN THE BEGINNING. But if you stick to a good routine every day, your mind with start be quicker, and you will feel more positive, that, in chain, will make you feel more energetic and encourage you to pursue doing it more! That's why it is so tough at the beginning... you force yourself but you fell no benefit, only discomfort. Most people don't have the focus necessary to maintain this level of commitment, unless their health is falling apart, which is a very bad time to start... So, don't wait untill your health is low, start today and STICK TO IT. In time, you will feel the NEED to do it. Don't do it for other people. Do it for yourself. Be selfish with this... You deserve to do it for yourself...

@@punanny123 Have you not ever heard of Paul Simon's classic song _50 Ways to Leave Your Lover_ ? 🎧😉🎵💽 On the serious side, though, I think if you wanted to badly enough, you would do it, pronto! For instance, let's say that you're in a marriage where you're being severely abused both physically and verbally by a spouse who has deep psychopathic tendencies. 😳 I bet that you would be out of there, FAST, and then miraculously attract 🧲 ways to legally cut ✂️ that umbilical cord, in record time! 🏎️💨 So it sounds like you need to create a sense of urgency 🚽🪠 for yourself. I'm assuming there is no fear factor to motivate you, so your basic instinct for survival doesn't seem to be activated. It's therefore too easy to settle for a so-so existence because there is no severe front-end pain involved. However, this doesn't mean the bigger pain isn't waiting for you at the back-end of the entire ordeal. 🌒 As the iconic Fram filters slogan goes, "You can pay me now, or pay me later."🚦🚗 And also, as the timeless saying goes, "You can run but you can't hide." 💀😱 Personally, I think it would be a big help to sit down and make a list of reasons WHY you need to part ways. What are your motives for ending the arrangement? Putting those motives to paper will transform into the motivation that you need for moving forward with your life. BTW, you must make sure that you write your "Why's" in positive terms. For example, you want the *_freedom to_* (which is positive) but NOT *_freedom from._* (which is negative). This is because whatever you write down will likely manifest AGAIN in your future life experience, due to the surprising power of the law of attraction. Speaking of which, there is only one big caveat with all of this. If you have any understanding at all about the law of attraction, you should already know that "you take yourself with you wherever you go". This means that whatever is in your vibration, regarding the unpleasant things about your marriage, if you don't find a way do the "inner work" required to clean up 🧹 your vibration, you'll eventually find yourself in the same pickle 🥒 all over again, on down the road. 🛣️ I wish you good luck. 🌿🍀💚

My brain has it reversed. It likes to start things for dopamine-- and then once I get it all figured out and can clearly see the end results, I lose interest. Creative Avoidance. Absolutely brilliant term and I bet millions of people do this. You helped me put a name to what I already knew was one of my flaws. I am so grateful. I am going to start today looking for and identifying this phenomena. When my creative avoidance surfaces, I will call it out and double down on embracing the boredom and discomfort of completing the task as a form of character building. I am going to enjoy this new me and I thank you greatly.

Or numb themselves with drugs and alcohol to avoid the inevitable. A person that takes initiative is more in balance with “what needs to be done” regardless of how much work one needs to invest to accomplish the plan. I'm SO glad I listened to this. I appreciate how the host asked the question about, "focus" and how to stay focused, when "life" happens.... meaning-stress from uncomfortable change and how do we stay focused on the other things that need our focus when someone has died or family gets sick or .... the world goes through a p (l) andemic and EVERYTHING changes as the truth rises. So.... he says - the show must go on kinda things... but, tbh, I've had the hardest couple of years of my life and I was actually wondering if someone can die, from so much stress. So, "FOCUS" was NOT on my mind and in fact was very very difficult to commit to, under such stressful situations. Is there something "wrong" with me? Am I stupid? Am I too sensitive? Am I too emotional? Do I take life too personally and lose myself to outside circumstances? HOW do you stay focused on the work that needs you? Only survival will get you to "focus" because our brains are NOT wired for success... it is wired for survival. SO - to "focus"-it must be about survival... OR you MUST change and grow out of the old ways that are sabotaging your success.

I also realized I had a belief from listening to Abraham that “don’t do anything until you feel like it or feel the impulse or joy to do something.” Because maybe things will go wrong if you’re not in “alignment.” That may be true too that maybe better things happen when you’re aligned in joy vs. just doing it even if you don’t feel like it. What I got from this is - when you have clarity of your deepest desires and have and set clear intentions - the rest is executing, even when it’s uncomfortable!!! Oh it’s so gorgeous! Thx!!!!

Man, this podcast really hit home for me. I literally am obsessed with the thought of doing the things “I know I should be doing, even when I don’t feel like doing them”. It doesn’t matter how large or small the task, if I tell myself I’ll do it later, or I can get away with not doing this, I immediately get it done. It’s become a challenge, but also it has helped me train myself to be more self disciplined. It also gets easier the more you do it! Loved this and I bought his book, Take The Stairs.🇺🇸

The example of the fatal car accident. Actually happened to me. Except I had left really late to return home, but if I had left on time I wouldn't be here. Taking a step back during hardship really helps, and you become naturally grateful. In my humble opinion. 😊

Who also smiles because he is so energetic, super intense while talking about the philosophies of procrastination, laziness, going into the storm, stop avoiding and being so super passionate about what he carries out to the world? 😁 And Lewis is in his calm and wondering what's going on here... ❤️ 😂 Omg watching and listening to this especially is such a nice, refreshing and windy thing 😂❤🤩 I love intense people! ❤

I was a master at Creative Procrastination! I've invested time and effort in identifying the reasons why I did what I did. I can now look back and confidently say that was the "old me". I feel so much better about my ability to tackle the tough tasks and prioritizing them instead of identifying other seemingly important tasks thus assigning them a higher priority. Thanks L Howes and R Vaden creating for this video.

I normally don’t finish videos in full. I did with this one. They say the teacher will come when the student is ready.. If you have struggled with completing this or other things. Be patient and kind to yourself. you will get there. When you are ready to receive , this podcast will speak to you.. And, you will learn from it. I have taken away lot of valuable nuggets from the podcast. And looking to hear it a few more times. We are all work in progress… Lewis : Thanks for all the amazing work you do.
