Another thing I miss is the Zip Pac meals. The Menu list the fish as hoki, but back in the late 80's it was mahi-mahi

I loved Mahi-Mahi, teriyaki with macaroni salad and rice.

We used to snorkel off the south break wall on the shipping channel to catch fish for the aquarium (I still have, but it sits empty in storage) We could see they bays from the house on the Hill. it was nothing at the time, but know it is all resorts etc. Too funny!

1:52 wow, I didn’t know about a rapid transit in Hawaii, wonder how long it’s been in construction. 9:15 This sunny background in the picture almost looks like a painting of sorts, real pretty. 9:30 looks like 423 has one of those horns you’d hear from SP and Rio Grande’s units, a Nathan P3 I think. Glad those horns are still used.

That rapid transit project has been a real boondoggle. Billions have been spent for just a few miles. Delays, errors in equipment and other issues have delayed it for years. They were planning it when I lived there.
