Do not underestimate how important is what Lex did even thıugh he doesnt know the arabic prayers he follows the motion and his body experiences what it’s like to pray. This is what you do when you are a child or a new comvert who doesnt know the prayer. You follow your dad and mimic the motions. Then when you memorise the verses you can make full prayer. InshaAllah this will inspire others as well

I wish someone could show me. I feel like I'm lost. I took shahada but now I'm struggling alone. I read the Quran everyday and it's getting more and more understandable. I actually look forward to reading it. i wish to learn the movements so I can at least pray someday. in the meantime I'm trying to keep to the times even though I don't know how to pray just yet

​@@sheilladunn9424 You are not alone. Now that Allah is always with you. Go to a mescid if you have one near where you live. Or go to a restaurant own by muslims and ask help. The prayer is easy. Just watch on you tube how to pray. You don't have to be perfect at once. You will establish your prayer in time. Print out the suraa and what you need to say during prayer. Make your wudu. Stand facing Kabe. Intent that you will pray for Allah and read from your notes. May Allah help you ❤ . Love from Turkey.

He is a universal, humanist man and want to understand humans in their fears, joy, conceit and love. Every human. Islam rejects kouffar, islam rejects people based on their religion because they mochrikin and do not believe in the one God, Islam won't leave place for homosexuals, Islam won't accept any other worldview but its. All of this is a generalization of what happens in most muslim places. You could be a pure hearted muslim but at least, with a baseline empathy, you should recognize that those very muslim countries are objectively hell for all aforementioned people or ideologies. I've live 18 years of my life in muslim countries and I know very well all those whereabouts. So please, not Lex. Don't show that you misunderstand completely what his whole work is about.

And it's freaking baseline empathy and objectivity. Imagine I come with a god I believe in. Say the Fluorescent-3-headed-T-Rex. I come and tell you you gotta abide by the arbitrary rules that this god told his creations to do. So you sacrifice from your own time (like the salat), let's say here everyone should pray for 3hours daily for this god. and then, after you have 3 children with your wife, you should castrate yourself. And so on... Just rules that seem unjust to you as non-muslims see unjust how Islam treats people based on whether they're a male or female, hetero or homosexuals, believers and non believers. And that's when I come and I tell you "Fluorescent-3-headed-T-Rex is the lord of the universe and he has the right to accept or reject whatever he wants. Do you fckn grasp why you are our enemies when you wanna force other people that had different conclusions, who are sure as much as you are sure, that Quran is non-divine. To keep my freedom, and to live as human who had legitimate conclusions, whereas you won't question your faith out of comfort, fear (the sheitan mechanism, fear of jahannam and so on), and by ego (you can't risk to admit one day that all you believed in for decades was a lie). We keep asking what is the purpose of life... if we really want to answer that question shouldn't we ask ourselves who is the greatest, who created everything and why was everything created in the first place including us. There are angels who have been in prostration since the beginning and when they would be ordered to get back up at the end of it all, they would say we have not glorified the Creator enough. A lot of people come to Islam this way. You have to try to see things from other people’s perspectives. If you start telling people the prayer isn’t accepted you only push them away. Look up stories of how many people came to Islam because they tried the prayer and liked it. Also many people considering Islam start praying to test it out and see what it’s like and they love it and become Muslim. There can never be a disadvantage or negative from performing sujood to Allah, no matter who you are, so long as it is actually for Allah (& not to Jesus etc). Also Jews believe in Allah.
