Honestly just doing long tube headers on your car with your exhaust system will get you a deeper sound 💯. You will love it 😎😤. One thing it does suck is you will have to get it tune and does waste little bit more gas but i done it with my Camaro. I Still daily drive for work and it’s not too bad.

Are you considering on lowering it? I’ve heard of lowered Camaro’s having issues with the rear diff axles overheating, but if you don’t track on your car or race on it back to back weekly, you should be fine… Maybe get like a 0.25-0.35” drop with lowering springs if you don’t want a super low drop with even lower (non-adjustable) springs or adjustable coilovers. The only downside to having adjustable coilovers, is that if you get ones with adjustable dampeners (which most modern, decent quality coilovers now have), you will have to either have them set perfectly how you want them before finishing installation, or you will have to take the shock assemblies out to re-adjust them. This is because there’s no accessible way through the trunk, to get to the top of the dampening adjusters. For the people who REALLY want to keep their car, they’ve measured out where to make cuts in the trunk, to make holes to reach the dampening adjusters, usually with pliers or something handy.

same here...I have borla ATAK with Solo high flow cats, if I could go back in time, I would prolly do Long tubes, I can still do it but like you said, will lose $ cause the Solo cats would have to be taken off

There is nothing wrong with an automatic ss, I personally drive my camaro with the ls3 only problem is city and traffic but I do love it

Sounds good! My brother had a 2010 camaro ss, auto, long tubes, hi flow cats, and flowmasters. Your camaro actually sounds just as loud. He went to a awd buick. After a year, couldnt take it. Traded it for a 2019 mustang 5.0. 6 speed manual. Amazing car. He uses snow tires for the winter too. Merry Christmas and Happy new year!

Yikes… Aside from the new 2018+ Mustang GT independent rear suspension design (no solid rear axle), their manual models up until 2020, suffer from that horrendous Getrag MT-82 manual transmission. Supposedly, most of the issue stems from various bushings and mounts around the transmission, and the actual factory clutch kit itself. Not to say that the 1st year/early release 5th gen (10-11) Camaro SS’ didn’t have issues, as well as the popular Tremec TR-6060 that it uses; but the Tremec TR-6060 has been well in production for over a decade, still to this very day (T-56 was it’s predecessor)! Most issues with the TR-6060 are actually solved with just the clutch kit assembly itself as well. Of course, anyone who doesn’t romp, bang, and hoon on their car won’t have these issues, but I’ve definitely seen a ton of people with 11-13, 14-18, 19-20 Mustang GT manual models, have issues with thing like the rear axle differential as well (diff vent tube leaks out gear oil). But let’s be honest, anyone who gets a $30k car is going to expect it to perform well in stock form, with more minimal issues at the very least; not to mention Ford had more than half a decade to fix the issue before they even did anything at all. A lot of older Ford Mustang GT manuals were sadly not built from the factory to even handle hard driving, even AFTER being modified with all of the fixes and/or preventative mods…

And that 2010 Chevy Camaro of yours looks terrific and well-maintained and you really do keep it up-the upkeep of a car(any car, truck, SUV or crossover)is most important and like you just said is garage kept(my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox is also garage kept and I try to take good care of it) BTW, I just passed the emission test on my vehicle here in the state in Illinois

If so, it would be great to see how loud your car is when you do a cold start and warm start, drive it windows up and windows down, do a fly-by, and do a few standstill revs. If not, that is perfectly fine. I like your side markers upfront, SS, one thing with the manuals yeah you have more horsepower. I believe it’s 425 versus the automatic with the 400 hp. Don’t lower it. It’s low enough just like to ask what size wheels are those 20s?
