Appreciate it, I use it every time I ride, and so far Im happy with it, battery life is awesome, easy to use, I made a phone call on it the other day, it worked fine for that too.

Title is wrong. You have the Lexin LX-B4FM. The new version is the Lexin B4FM (without the LX) and has 10 riders and Bluetooth 5.0. Button functions are completely different also for pairing.

How did you get on pairing all 4 units together? was it easy? is the sound quality as good as it is with only 2 units?

@@babb101 That's the biggest downfall. Your two bridge units sound great. Your next two unit tie to one each of the bridge units. So my daughter will tie to my wife and my son ties to me. I hear him great an my wife great. Hearing my daughter is pretty poor.

It does say for optimal performance you should ride in the order of connection so units 1-2-3-4 should ride in formation 1-2-3-4, and that units 2-3 (bridges) should keep "within the stated intercom range"...did you do this and still experience poor sound?

@@babb101 We actually have two machines, a two up ATV and a 2 seat SxS...so wife and I as bridges, one on each machine...and then daughter tied to her and son tie to me. That way I can hear wife and son just great. Wife and hear me and daughter well. If we swap them out so that we end up with both bridge on the same machine, they're useless. So other than that one issue, I do think they are great. I do wish range was a little better in wooded areas. But it's not often we get too far apart. And it's easy to tell if the bridges are getting to that threshold as there starts to be some constant static on the line so to speak. So lead driver just slows down a tad till the rear driver catches up and the static is gone. On a straight stretch, that's a long ways off in the distance. But in wooded areas it's likely 25% of that straight line distance. Let us know how it works out for you or if you find any tricks.

You only hit the intercom button to connect the/start the call. It stays connected until you push the button again to end the call

Yep, still works great! Sounds quality is not as good as sitting in your car, at all, for me, its about having some background music to enjoy on my rides.. Mic works fine, Ive made calls and the people said it sounded good. So thats all I know. Nothing has gotten worse at all.

How strong is the spring clip? I wouldn't be using the glue on clip. I'm afraid about the unit falling off the helmet with the spring clip!

Ok, hard to cover all questions, but you didnt test out the Comm with the other unit? When you play music from your phone to your headset, does it also continuously transmitt the same music to the 2nd unit/rider or does the other rider have to pair up with their own bluetooth player? Or do or can you pair up with one bluetooth player for both? What is the range before crackeling or dropout?

I have, the com works fine with the other unit. No, each unit has to play its own music for each listener. I have not done a full range test unfortunately.

The upgraded version, the B4FM-X can share the music with other unit, the simple B4FM can't.

Hi. I need a bluetooth intercomm for my fz6S. I mainly need it so I can hear the sat nav while riding on the motorway at higher speeds. Is this lexin good enough sound quality wise? How is it at around 120 kmh? (75 mph) Any other recommendations? Don't want to really spend a lot as I still need to purchase a sat nav. But is the FT4 /pro worth it over b4fm?

This is the only unit Ive ever played with, I can hear it on my harley no problem, sound isnt as good as being in a car, but its easily hearable to me

You can buy the cardo JBL speaker on its own, bit pricey but it works

@@keithchan6561 that will not allow me to keep the microphone speaker. Those jbl are speakers only with no extra wire coming off of them to keep my microphone. The jbl are also a regular phone jack. The lexin take a USB type C

Google assistant doesn't work on this as far as I can tell. I have one and it's very annoying. Hateful Edit: Actually, don't know exactly what settings on my phone i changed but seems to work ok with my Google pixel now. Even OK google command works, can't wait for my bike to arrive to give it a test.

I heard really good things about the iasus xsound 3 speakers. They are kinda pricey at 120 for the speakers but they are better than the jbl helmet speakers and that speakers for itself.
