My feeling towards zombies, is that it essentially turned away from the fun, replayability aspects that actually stick with us as memories, and went for some weird cash grab where the average player couldn’t progress without looking through KZbin tutorials just so they can figure out weird missions and secrets you have to do to even progress. You can’t just pick it up and play anymore

I remember being on vacation, we had just toured the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge TN. And I saw the trailer dropped, I watched the trailer by myself and cried because while I was older - my start was Black Ops 1. I knew about the PPSH but never got a chance to play with it, GK’s trailer got me so excited and hyped up. I was watching MrTLefify playing Buried the day before and nobody knew this was coming. I remember staying up late waiting for ZHouse to upload on YT and then within 18-24 hours this trailer dropped. Just an exciting time for the Zombies community and I was so happy to be apart of it. It’s definitely changed, but it’s something we can all remember to look back on when we’re all old.

i remember discovering zombies i beat the waw campaign (i had no internet so i could only play offline) i was actually with my slightly younger brother and two friends and it put us into nacht after beating it. I was shocked we fell in love then when bo1 came out id stay up all night to play dlcs the second they launched. I'll never forget my friend and I, on my last day of grade 8 watching the Gorod Krovi trailer and screaming in the classroom. A bunch more people crowded around to see what the fuss was about and some of them I'm pretty sure started playing zombies because of it. It was a fucking amazing moment to see that trailer and seeing everyone in the community so ready for the release.

24:16 I actually have very recently. It isn't as bad as what I originally thought and was actually pretty fun when you are playing with a friend. Though I would've preferred to have more zombie maps on bo2 or a proper zombies mode on ghosts. But I think that would've been bad overall for the zombies community since non-treyarch zombie modes are what caused a major burnout in the first place. EDIT: For ghosts I only have the first map so that is were I have to base the entire mode on sadly. I think that one day I'll buy the other maps just like how I'll repurchase BO4 but on PC to give it the best chance (Zombies on a controller is weird to me and I can only be good when using a mouse and keyboard)
