Once the shockwave subsided she explained a "woman" would never be able to get a home loan if there was a chance she'd get pg. @swamp7child according to my switch I've spent 1900 hours playing the game 🥴 No prior planning whatsoever! I'm more of a gardener than an architect... I just build what I feel like building and it has naturally grown and evolved into this over time! I've never flattened my island, most of the terraforming is just editing the existing cliffs and river to suit whatever area I'm working on at the time. During 1.0 it was a horror island. Bill Wibbly had a haunted house. Then I saw the movie Midsommar and the island had sort of a creepy pastoral cult phase. Over time I decided that felt too limiting so it became more of a chill hippie commune with a couple creepy elements leftover! After that my main goal was just making things look as realistic as possible. It's definitely not the most efficient way to build an island though, which is why it's taken me 3.5 years to make something I'm truly happy with 😅 My only real design tip is to pack your non-walking areas super full of clutter, but leave your paths pretty open! For me, the clutter was mostly plants and natural-looking items but it just depends on your theme. And take full advantage of treasure islands so you can use your valuable time decorating instead ! ☺️

This island honestly gave me life!!! The colors, the vibe, all of it...just perfection. I was geeking out. It felt perfect. It felt nostalgic in some weird way.
