I got the 2022 version and after 15k miles and about 30 hours a week in it, I am absolutely amazed at how refined it is day in and day out. Took it down to Orlando and back during the winter to visit family and it was one of the most comfortable experiences I've had inside a car. If you are past hard suspensions, loud exhausts, dangerous driving, over the top technology and speeding tickets with maybe an arrest or two here and there for reckless driving, this is the car for you. 40 MPG during the winter month in New England weather. 44/45 MPG during the warmer months. Quiet, serene, refined, peaceful, calming, relaxing, etc etc. I only wish it was AWD.

@@supersurfer1so funny, I went through the same thing with my old Audi A6 V6. After two speeding tickets and one reckless driving in 3 years my insurance almost tripled. Sold it in 2019 and picked us an es300h and never looked back. In eco mode it’s tough to accelerate quickly, which keeps me in check. Need more power for whatever reason, like a challenging merge or a hill, regular and sport mode are great for that. I’ll be replacing next year with another es300h and enjoying videos like this one. Got my ES300h one month ago at Park Place Lexus Grapevine. It's the Ultra Luxury trim, which is what we wanted and is the highest trim for the ES hybrid. It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior. Total Installed Packages & Accessories: 1) Premium Triple-beam LED headlamps; 2) Smartacess Card Key; 3) Premium Paint; 4) Lexus Interface with 12.3-in Multimedia Touchscreen Display; 5) Ultra Luxury Package; 6) All weather floor liners and trunk mat; 7) Door edge film by 3M; 8) The Preferred Accessory Package; and 9) The Dealer added a 5-year windshield protection/replacement coverage package and tinted the driver and passenger windows. More: The three-projector headlamp design creates an eye-catching L shape. Adding to this brilliant design, the headlamps feature LED side turn signals, as well as an Adaptive Front Lighting System6 that uses steering and speed sensors to direct the angle of low-beam illumination as the vehicle enters a curve. The Adaptive Front Lighting System monitors steering and speed with a suite of sensors and will automatically adjust the angle of your low-beam headlights to improve visibility on curved roads. Ultra Luxury extras: 1) 18-inch split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels 2) Power rear sunshade with manual rear-door sunshades 3) Power open/close trunk with kick sensor 4) 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display 10.2-inch Head-Up Display 5) Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection, and Panoramic View Monitor. Averaging 43+ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1,000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10,000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the Oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and Toyota filter every 5,000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. 😎
Congrats! I just bought a f sport es 300 at park place in grapevine today!

Everyone needs to learn to appreciate the benefits of the modern CVT. Once they understand why it does for what, you will fully enjoy that weird banding sound and feel of it. Especially for hybrid, CVT is a must in order to give you both of excellent, buttery smooth ride and efficient power delivery when you push; all of these while getting the best fuel economy. It's some next level shit, and Toyota really refined it better than anybody else. If anyone has driven Toyota/Lexus hybrid, you actually won't complain about it.

Thank you for the great content. I have a 2019 ES 300h (my first Lexus Hybrid - coming from a Honda Hybrid). There is a loud noise coming from the brake booster pump every time I open the drivers seat or occasionally while driving. I have wrapped it with sound deadening (heat proof) material since sometimes it is extremely loud. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to function? Funny how I didn't notice that during the test drive and what might be loud for me might not be noticeable to others. Perhaps it's because the car is so quiet that you hear everything (kinda ironic). Thank you!

Reviewers need to better gear their comments towards those who are most likely going to buy the car. Saying the car is slow OR not as fast from 0-60 as a non-hybrid 6 cylinder car is a stupid/ridiculous comment. People already know this!! The speed limit in most states is 65 MPH, so a car that can go 140 MPH is not really what is important. Also, even if they actually would want one, most young kids can't afford this car unless they are born to a rich family. The buyer for this car will be on the 50+ age range, and they are looking for luxury and a quiet and comfortable ride. And, that is what this car delivers, and also reliability, probably as good as if not better than any others in its price point.

Depends on what you value. It will not be more dependable, nor quicker, it will be only a little roomier, and it will lack the convenience of a folding rear seat. You'll also pay a lot of money to replace a car that's already very durable. You have to want the luxury of a luxury car for the cost to be worth it.
