Lexus GEN8 Map Update via USB Stick

This video shows how to update the software and map data in your Lexus or Toyota equipped with 8th generation navigation. For the 7th generation, the process is almost the same. The update process for 8th and 9th generations with a MicroSD slot is different.
You can buy the update package here: toyotamaps.online. The package comes with a personal activation code, an instruction manual and a data archive which should be extracted to your 32GB USB stick. After the payment is done you will receive a personal activation code that will allow you to start the upgrade process.

The reason why is the difference between US and EU vehicles. US updates are only available for authorized Lexus dealers within the region.
