Just got my 2021 conversion bumper painted and installed it yesterday. I then promptly ordered the 09-10 bumper brackets because the fitment under the lights needs to be perfect haha. It looks incredible though! I’m running the Vland’s on the front and the HCmotion on the back. One thing that I thought might be really cool though, is if you did a video showing how to get the HCmotion lights yo stay on always or perhaps make a switch. They look so dope at night when they turn on, but all day they just look like another aftermarket light. And sadly when I turn my lights from “auto” to “on” my front DRL’s turn off which creates an equally frustrating combination 😂. Anyways, just an idea.

I did this on my 09 ISF with just one slight drawback. The fog light indicator in the cluster won't light up when on. I knew this in advance since it's computer controlled. Not a big deal IMO.

I ordered a wiring harness that came with same button, it made it super easy I only had to connect to battery and ground no need to tap into other wires. Only problem is they always have power I just need to remember to turn them off.

That’s why you need to tap a ACC power source for the relay.

No it’s hooked to constant battery power that why you gotta turn on separate of car power.

Hey, would you know how to make the drls work as parking light/ front position lights, I fitted the vland headlights to my is220d f sport but it failed inspection because there is no sidelights/ front position lights, I'm hoping to wire the drls up to the sidelight circuit but not sure where to start, I'm a tech guy and good with wires etc but not much experience with car electrics..

Should be same module. Look around engine bay fuse block for the fog light fuse and should be same color wires.

Hey Binh, is there a special tool I need to remove (pull/push) the pins from the headlights? I checked an old diagram you had on CL and I think my OEM headlights are pinned to only 50% brightness and would like to repin for 100%. I don't want to break any pins or wires as I bought these 8 years ago before depot was even available.

Why do you want ‘Fog’ lights on when it is Not foggy? The lights are technically ‘High Intensity’ lights and should Only be used in reduced visibility situations ie Fog, Smoke or super heavy rain situations! So as not to cause blinding problems of oncoming drivers when visibility is actually not impaired, Indeed it is illegal to use ‘Fog’ lights in the UK without dipped headlights and when visibility is Not less than 100 metres! So therefore I for one would not recommend this ‘mod’ as it could cause legal problems in your area!

They don’t care in the USA with fog lights. Most people want to have them on as DRL or with their parking lights.
