Lexus NX 300 (2014-2021): Dead Smart Key Battery. How To Enter And Start The NX 300?

In this video, we will show how to Enter and Start the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 Lexus NX 300 in case the smart key battery has died.

You will need to remove the mechanical key from the smart key in order to be able to unlock the front door. After you unlock the door the alarm will sound. To deactivate the alarm you will need to place the smart key against the engine start / stop button and then start the engine. This will deactivate the alarm.
Every time you turn off the engine you will need to place the smart key against the engine start / stop button first in order to be able to start the vehicle.
To lock the vehicle you will need to use the same mechanical key that comes inside the smart key.
This procedure will need to be repeated until you replace the battery inside the smart key.

Wow how annoying. I'll have to test this out BEFORE I'm in this predicament. Not sure my model the 2020 NX300 the alarm goes off. I would not have figured out how to turn it off. I didn't even know I had a mechanical key. I bought this certified new a short time ago. I have not gone through the manuals all the way yet. My key fob battery was getting low after 4 weeks of not using the car. Thank goodness for helpful KZbinrs like you!😊
