I saw the same test with the new TX 500h, same drivetrain, same results unfortunately.

It's actually good in snow and light off road in general, nice clearence too. This test is also good result 👍. I think restyled 2020 RX450h has updated awd system too. People here say that Subaruuu had better awd than thiis, so its better. First of all its not that much better and secondly Subaru only makes Crossover suvs and only awds, so they put their all into that AWD. While for the Lexus it has GX and LX if you want off road , that subaru cant dream of, so its their sale strategy. if they give maximum off road capabilities to their crossovers, less people will buy LX simple. Still, this is very good, not much less than Subaru plus its a hybrid.

And I am pretty sure next gen rx will even complete the rear slip test which this failed this failed is the motor at the back is bit old they used it in a 2010 rx otherwise this would complete the rear slip test

my car and i have no issues in wintertime and normal snow. As the Manual says its AWD system is NOT for offroad ! its for more safety in bad conditions , less front tires wearout, more recuperation and better acceleration from a stop, it save some weight not having a tunnel+driveshaft ......and in all this its very well !! It´s main purpose is to safe gasoline while having a smooth safe ride and in that its very good !
