Appearing as though it is precision machined from a single sheet of metal, the Lexus NX will certainly turn heads when out on the roads. This premium compact crossover is a first for Lexus; its blend of edgy styling and world-leading technology making it a desirable addition to the range. The Lexus NX incorporates a choice of petrol and hybrid powertrains culminating in the highly efficient full hybrid NX 300h, and is offered in five trim levels, ranging from the entry-level S, up through SE and Luxury to the driver-focused F Sport model, and culminating in the range-topping Premier. Technology abounds on the NX, aiding both safety and convenience and making the Lexus a great place to be.

A car that looks like a person without a chin. Something I have wished Lexus would improve on for its RX and now this NX. That's why I did not buy the RX, now I just don't like the missing chin of the NX as well. I guess Lexus just don't like me as a customer.

yes! im more into clean lines. These look like a samuri got his sword and started to slash to design it. It wont age well and looks cheese.

Hi Michael, sorry you feel that way. This is a product review or walkaround but if you'd like to see NX in action we'd encourage visiting our site and our other videos on here. Engines available are the 300h (2.5 petrol hybrid) and 200t (2.0 petrol turbo). Output is 155 /114 @ 5700 for the hybrid and 238 / 175 @ 4800-5600 for the turbo. We hope that this helps you in your car search. We're glad you like the great looks of NX.

Thank you, since introducing L-Finesse design language, including larger more recognisable grilles, we have seen sales do very well. The styling won't please everyone and we appreciate your feedback, however we know of many customers who celebrate the fact our cars stand out from the conservative looks of other brands out there.

+Lexus UK Sorry but I have seen the #s and you are going to fall short. I don't know what you are comparing against but this was a bad move by Lexus. Nobody is against differentiation....but this is just not appealing and was put together for my 16 year old son.

The NX has one fault. The lower model (non F-sport model) has a front design which makes it look like a person without a chin. I just cannot get pass the front low end of the lower model.

OK, I'm sorry but Lexus is sort of botching the launch of this. How many more constipated weeks are we gonna hear about the NX and the RC? Where the F is the car? What is taking them so long. They need to hire someone from APPLE and learn how to launch. This is coming in trickles and mini waves, they need to LAUNCH BIG, HAVE PRODUCT THE FOLLOWING TWO WEEKS LATER not a six month drip drip drip.

They anticipated sales at 900 per month...and what happened in Japan was 9,000 orders on just the first month. Yea, that's nine thousand. I just ordered one today, and it's due in on September 20th of next year...NINE MONTHS! RC-F, same deal, just way lower numbers. Toyota launched the new Harrier shortly before this, and it sold like crazy. Lexus though that because of that, the buyer market for the NX would be much smaller. About 50% of the orders are for the F-Sport. The standard versions are about one month quicker for delivery (8 months).

The Lexus NX300h is just a Toyota Rav4 Hybrid (both mount the same engines and give same horsepower) but heavier (285 more pounds), worse safety scored (at EuroNCAP, at the IIHS and at the NHTSA), less off road capable, with worse acceleration (one more second than the RAV4 to reach 60 mph) and far more expensive even with far fewer accesories or extras.

Lexus models and Toyota models aren't the same. They are built in different factories, using different materials and built to different specifications.
