Oh how I wish my friend and I had watched you first before the very frustrating assembly of this jeep...it would have saved us so much time. Horrible printed instructions, process of elimination on screws and pain in the rear (nice way to put it) on wheels and roll bar. I called to tell her that we need to drill our own holes to secure roll bar. Thank you for making us feel better.

Hi! I’m having drive/reverse issues with mine. The start up, radio and lights work great. The front tires move right and left from the controller but the problem I’m having is it won’t drive or reverse from the car or the remote. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Sounds like the wires for the motors are not plugged into the speed controller, or wires are broken somewhere. Under the hood where the battery sits, unscrew the black plastic piece that fills the hood. Underneath that, you'll see a black square electronic component with a fan on it, that's your speed controller. Make sure the wires are plugged in. While thats accessible, if that doesn't solve it, trace the rest of the wires and see if anything is unplugged or broken elsewhere, if not, contact customer support. They were helpful

Just found one on the curb and will be troubleshooting the battery and power switch. When I get it to turn on it says "flash" and doest go and the lights don't work. However the dash and radio work but the power button is super finicky

My guess it would be in the speed controller. but honestly if its off the curb, bypass all of that, wire in a milwaukee battery and call it a day.

I replaced the entire controller box with a new one and remote and no luck. Ended up getting a complete 12v similar wire harness that's way to short and got it to work (obviously). No radio or sound, it looks like it has light wires so I'll plug those into the light circuit boards but won't have a light on off switch. Comes with a remote tho.

Is this only supposed to be steered with the controller? The steering feels like it will break when my son gets old enough to start steering on his own.

That's just the resistance of the electric motor. You can steer without the remote as well. Once you're at that point you could always remove the steering motor as well

@@EscapingMidnight24 You don't do that from the remote control. its controlled in the car itself. put the stick in forward or reverse. Child will have control, and you from the remote can stop it or intervene if they're going to crash.

we brought one but the battery 12/14V only lasts 15-20 mins before you get the annoying "replace battery warning" how does your battery life compare?

I've been actually really impressed by the battery life. We get hours out of it. I'd write the company. Customer service is shockingly good. You're giving it full 12 hour charges?

@@LarryFopps we are in nz so it's a nz company and they say the 15-20mins before the warning is normal which seems crazy considering the size of the battery.
