Ronnie is one of the most talented people in "metalcore" but honestly, music in general. But the problem is he has fans of rap and metal who tear him down no matter what he does so it's hard for outside people to discover him. If you ask a non-biased person to watch his content, you'll see a drastic difference. Ronnie is a fucking legend and as a metal vocalist and song writer myself, I respect the absolute fuck out of him and the battles he's fought and won.

He served his sentence between fronting the band Escape the fate and Falling in reverse. My understanding is that he wrote a lot of FIR's first album in prison and got the band together there. Escape the fate had kicked him out, so he started a new band. If you watch the original The drug in me is you video, it kind of acts out him getting sentenced and hauled off to prison. Sort of.

Ronnie does screams, cleans the lot. The lead guitarist does back up screams but ronnie does all of it. This trilogy is all about for him from when he got out of prison and how he had to face the world as the person he is now but wrestle the person he used to be. This song in particular is about saying to himself if I kept going down that road with drugs and getting arrested i would be in a haze and miss years of my life including his daughter growing up. And yes that is willow, his actual daughter.

He was locked up as an accessory to murder. Basically here’s the short version of the story: When Ronnie was in High School, he was in a famous band called Escape The Fate (I would recommend checking out some of their stuff as well) skip a few years of success and he got into a fight with another person when he was 22, turned up at their house with a few of his mates to scare the guy, one of his mates shot the him and ended up killing him and injuring his brother. He got prosecuted, but never sent to jail, they gave him 5 years of probation, he broke said probation and that’s where he was sentenced 2.5 years in jail. Due to this and his excessive drug taking, his old band Escape the Fate fired him and that’s where when he went to prison, he became clean and ultimately created the band Falling in Reverse with ex guitar player Derek (who actually picked him up from prison when he got out) Derek unfortunately died earlier on this year.

Gonna fact check you real quick as someone who followed the entire thing. They didnt just show up to dudes house they met up in the desert mutually it was SUPPOSED to be a fight but it never happened because his friend shot the kid. The reason he didnt do time wasnt because he was only charged with battery and the only reason for that was because his friend killed himself otherwise he wouldnt have been charged at all (btw this is all coming from ronnie himself) the rest is about accurate though
