LG 55ec9300 Teardown | Expensive LG Curved OLED TV teardown & Analysis

I have an issue with my lg curved oled tv, There are few rows of red pixels being stuck on the screen. I don't see this, when the tv is in no signal mode, where the screen is black.. What could be the issue??... Thanks in advance.

@bgtech1 Hi, my LG 55EC930V-ZA TV stopped working. When you turn it on the red stand by light flickers and nothing happens. My local TV repair guy said they replaced the power supply and it didn't fix it so my question is, if it's not the power, which of the parts is most likely to be the problem. Ideally, I need a part number because some parts are available on ebay but I don't want to buy the wrong part. Thanks so much.

Usually the light flashing will give you some kind of error code that will help pinpoint the problem

please help me LG oled55E8 model 2018 when i watched netflix tv turn off automatically, red light is keep on, when i turn on from remote or tv button,tv ticking normal sound inside and after 5 second another ticking and turn off tv but that time up screen black and up side showing quickly some line and shut down. is this problem power board or main or T con ? please help.

It’s hard to tell for sure. It sounds like it’s an issue with your mainboard or power board. More research and troubleshooting will be necessary to determine which one.

I have a line of dead pixels from bottom to top on my lg c1. Would you say the problem lies somewhere in those bottom 4 ribbons?

It’s not easy to tell.That issue sounds like it could be a connection issue between the t-con board and the the source/gate driver boards along the side of the panel, or the connection from the source/gate driver board and the panel itself. There are some good videos here on KZbin explaining potential repair options for a vertical line of dead pixels.

It could be a bad power supply, overheating or some sort of other issue. Google “lg oled tv switches itself off after 1 minute” and take a look at the different solutions people have posted. You can start ruling out possible problems one by one, starting with the simplest.

I hate when people buy cheap LED TVs. I would only choose QLED, OLED, or QD-OLED TVs from reputable brands such as Samsung, LG, Sony, or Vizio.
