Hello! What if my unit doesn't have base pan? It's the DUAL Inverter. It's leaking from the sides instead of through the hole below. Thanks!

Hey Hector. To ensure that your LG A/C is draining correctly, Ensure that it's tilted from front to back by ¼” to ½.” The back of the unit should be lower than the front to allow proper drainage. If this persists, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport with your contact details . We'll be happy to continue finding a solution. ^David

Hello, I have this exact unit but recently I'm starting to see mosquitos and other little flying critters come through my unit. The sides are sealed so it's definitely coming through the ac vent. Any suggestions as to why? I've had it for two years now and this is the first time this has happened.
@LGUSASupport6 ай бұрын
Hi Brittney! This isn't the experience we strive for! Let's take a closer look so that we can get this resolved as soon as possible! First, please make sure that you have the fresh air vent lever pushed inward. It's black and slightly protrudes from the vents. If it's in the outward (pulled towards you) position, this would allow fresh air into the room and allow for a way for these critters to come in! Have you noticed any leaks in the unit? Mosquitos may be attached to any standing water in or around the AC unit. If you do notice a leak, it would need to be addressed promptly! Please send us a private message on social media (@LGUSSupport) with your phone, model, & serial numbers. We'd be happy to get to the bottom of this! ^Chris

Can I use during rain?
@LGUSASupport Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use a window air conditioner when it's raining. It's designed for outdoor use. Rain won't affect its performance. However, if there's flooding, unplug it to avoid electrical issues. You can also add weather stripping for extra protection. For questions, message us on Facebook or Twitter @LGUSSupport. We're here to assist. `Alice

I can not get my air conditioner to tilt downward at all. It will onlt stay level. The underneath is sweating really bad, causing the water to drip inside, causing damage. I have tried everything.

I added a thick piece of wood underneath the ac unit in the front interior, so that it would give it enough tilt

My LG AC has been leaking to the inside from what seems like the bottom of the filter area. This is terrible especially during heavy rain storms. Is this because I need to pull something out from the back to drain the water?
@LGUSASupport Жыл бұрын
HI, there. If your air conditioner is leaking water, it's often due to regular cooling and condensation. The water gathers in the base pan and is supposed to drain outside. The unit is designed to work with about 1/2 inch of water in the base pan, so don't worry about adding more if it's dry. If there's a leak inside your home during heavy storms, it could be because excess water made the base pan overflow. Just drain off the extra water from the base pan.
