This is an easy decision if you're sensitive to PWM flicker (which apparently I am!). I had to return my 75" QN90B as it was uncomfortable to watch due to PWM flicker that fatigued my eyes after only 15 minutes. The worst part is that it's not visible, you just notice your eyes feeling dry and have to blink often. Terrible experience, so beware buying Samsung QLED TVs without spending half an hour watching it to ensure you're not bothered by the flicker. Otherwise just buy an OLED or SONY LCD TV.

Hey friend, i have the QN90B for about 5 months and i never had any of the issues you mentioned above. No flickering or whatsoever. Probably your unit was defective or something 😕. I personally sold my C1 to get the QN90B because i was dealing with a lot of frustration during the daytime, that was a really bad huge bummer so eventually i ended up buying the QN90B on discount for about 870 Euros after one of my friends bought it before me and of course he introduced it to me before i go to spend all that money, and considering the price range i mentioned, I'm pretty sure there was nothing better in this range.

@@antisystemicparadise1202 hey mate, the TV was working perfectly, but the flickering issue only affects some users. I couldn't see the flickering, which is why I didn't notice it at the store. When looking to purchase another tv was looking at these two. I opted for the 48 inch c2 for the bedroom. I currently have a sony xh90 65 inch for the main living room tv and the picture is fanatastic for the money. I paid £900 gbp 2 years ago at 2021 boxing day sales. I only opted for the FALD tv because of the kids as they like to pause the tv leave it running and tend to watch a alot content with static imagery. Plus the living room is really bright and tv is mostly used during day light hours. But LG OLED could replace the Sony in the next few years. OLED tvs are the real future, the almost perfect panel. The other tech, though some are fantastic, i feel are there just to fill in the gabs of not being able to purchase a OLED i.e budget, kids, type of usage etc. 75 in oled in the living room 😍

🌳LG C2 OLED evo is best! 🌳

Wer TV schauen will, sollte zum LG C2 greifen. Wer ihn als Monitorersatz haben möchte, sollte zum Samsung QN90B greifen.

Wow you lowered the Samsung brightness to ZERO(!) to match the LG. Thats my problem with OLED - looks like the midrange of light is gone - it has only the power to light the smaller areas of highlights - and it gives there fore a "fake" high contrast look.

QN90B is better. The sound is high quality compared to the poor sound of LG C2. More than 2000 peak brightness for QN90B against 800 peak brightness for LG C2. Infinite contrast on LG C2 is at the level of the Samsung contrast in « dark mode ». That’s why Samsung TVs are amazing. They managed to have almost same level contrast against infinite contrast. Unbelievable.

If I can give a bit of constructive criticism. This is the 7th review I watch comparing this 2 tvs, since I’m currently deciding which one of them to buy. And this one is the only one where the difference was monumental. In this video the Oled looks much much much better than the Samsung , like if this video eas the only one out there , I would have instantly discarded the Samsung. Turning brightness down to 0 really gutted the Samsungs contrast , wich was one of the best things it had going for it. In the other reviews I saw. I was feeling okay so daylight landscapes , like for example nature documentaries (which I love) definitely look better in the Samsung. Reds and greens pop out more , it’s beautiful. However dark scenes , like a bonfire in the night , looks quite better on the OLED due to those unmatched deep blacks. However… Based on what I was seeing in other KZbin reviews I was starting to lean towards the Samsung , since it’s blacks although not as good as the ones on an OLED , where really impressive , mini led is impressive gets respectfully close to what OLED does. However on a bright room filled with windows , and lots of sunshine , like the one where my tv is , the Samsung brightness would make the tv a much better suit. Had I only watched this review , based on what my eyes saw during it. I would be like damn , that Samsung looks bad , it looks dull , it has terrible viewing angles. It’s not even worth half of that OLED. If I can give and advice. If you can’t record them together leaving the Samsungs brightness untouched. Then record them separately, and edit them together. But seriously handicapping one of the 2 tvs , for recording purposes , seriously damages how one of the 2 looked. Like I said 3 times already. If this was the only review on KZbin . I would have though the QN90B it’s an utter piece of crap. And based on the other review I know it really isn’t

Nah, it’s didn’t look as good to me, I recorded it with the brightness at zero but I tested it before I filmed. I personally like bright TVs because I watch a lot of HDR, I had the c2 on my bedroom for 3 days and I was like nope not me. I’ve used 3 other OLEDs and they are not for me. Higher end mini led is my personal preference or QD-OLED. I think people don’t understand that I have over 30 TVs and I’m not new to filming videos on TVs. I play them for hrs before i film them. I always say buy what makes you happy reviews are only opinions. Every OLED that I have used as personal TV I keep look for the brightness settings just to find out that it’s a 100% 😳

Samsung is best option specifically for gaming. 1. Samsung Nits around max 2000 but LG c2 evo 800 2. Samsung HDR 10 + but LG c2 probably just HDR 10 3. For gaming samsung offer 144 hz but LG c2 120hz 4. Samsung latency at 10.1ms - faster than the LG C2 (13.1ms) 5. Most important : Samsung and you never worry about burn screen

QN90B won. Avoid the C2. Too dim for a good HDR experience, bad text quality due to WBGR pixel layout, less color space coverage, and burn-in issues. QN90B (and the upcoming QN90C) are better.
@chiefjudge8456 Жыл бұрын
@@paulcox2447 MiniLED allows perfect blacks and very high brightness. OLED can't give you HDR because it is too dim to create meaningful contrast. OLED is an inherently flawed (due to burn-in), dying tech and every advancement related it is putting lipstick on a pig. It's dim garbage and every single OLED panel will get burn-in. 10 years from now it will only be on devices with batteries (a low power profile is the only actual strength of OLED) and will be entirely replaced by MiniLED and MicroLED on desktop monitors and TVs.
@Da-iken Жыл бұрын
C2 have not "Burn In" issues at day 1. You can use it easy 5 + or 10 years... while you must live with all the problems of LED at day 1. What a nonsense comment. And no, Mini LED don´t have perfect blacks. It is impossible. OLEDs have perfect blacks because of pixel level control. In dark scenes side by side the OLED will look much better and the Mini LED like an entry level TV.
