@@AaronFigFront No point comparing projectors with TVs... When there are 120" micro LED screens and more than a few individuals can afford them, it will be comparable. Projectors are for cinema-like movies in a darkened room, TVs are for watching TV shows and music videos during the day. A lot of people don't care that much, but you just don't get the cinema effect on a TV with midday sunlight streaming into the room. Of course, I look forward to when projector manufacturers stop using bogus marketing visualizations where apparently projectors can make a white wall black and exaggerate with comparisons to "conventional" etc. But that will probably never happen.

Projectors are great for for film nights or showing off to you mates, however they don't complete against a TV for price, noise and picture quality. I've had a projector for 4 years and often wondered about removing the TV. 1. There several reasons holding me back, picture is brighter and clearer on a TV. 2. Projectors are noisy, big fans cooling the bulb. 3. Bulbs have a limited lifetime and brightness drops off over time. 4. Most projectors that are affordable need to be ceilings mounted, added cost and not easy for a non diyer. 5. After all that I love watching films on mine and PS4 nights are ace.

Anyone considering this but Dont like the price should check out the xiaomi range of short throw projectors. They really really good and come with android too. The prices are also steep but they quality and go for half the price of this one
