I've been using the LG G5 for over a day now and it is the first LG phone I've ever owned. I've noticed some people are complaining about a couple of things and here are my opinions and work arounds on them issues. The app draw. Yes I was put off at first that there isn't one. However this is Android, not locked iOS! There are many launchers available on the play store that you can use that will give you an app draw, my personal favourite is Nova Launcher. You don't need to do anything dodgy to the phone, just install it like an app and set the Launcher of your choice as the default then all done. Screen is on when the phone is on standby. Like the reviewer has said, it hardly drains the battery, in fact you don't even notice. I'm a fairly heavy user. Spotify, emails social networking etc and to be honest the battery life is pretty solid. My battery is currently at 45% and it's not been on charge for 7 hours now, also Bluetooth is enabled all the time because I own a smartwatch as well. So far no complaints with the G5 with me.

My first and current LG phone was the LG G3. I had previously used the more established brands (at the time) like sony and Samsung, so this was a bit of a gamble in my eyes. It truly paid off. It's amazing to see how far LG have came since they showed up on the android market. The innovation and pure logic that goes into their phones is inspired. I'm still amazed by the volume and lock controls on the back of the Phone. Simple... yet brilliant. And now the modular feature for the battery. You think, why has nobody else done this before now? I have no doubt LG will be another dark horse in the race this year.

i feel the lg g5 is unique and first of it's kind. I really like the idea of modules because it retains what we enjoy of a lg flagship (battery and expansion) while also giving options and customization for the consumer. I'm really happy that lg went for the unibody design while keeping the features that we enjoy as consumers.

All I can say is that hopefully, the extended module changes are hopefully expanded upon, add split screen back, and add the app drawer back. Those are key features that are needed. I personally don't think the design is too bad but there is such a thing as too sleek
