Luckily I was able to get a bunch of them for our Roof! They Perform really good! I can't unterstand why LG stopped making them...

The competition from China is fierce. Also the production methods LG utilizes (high purity silica, cobalt, silver, etc) is VERY VERY expensive. Also LG is producing ONLY N-TYPE high-quality solar cells, whereas the 90% of manufacturers are making P-type cells (inexpensive, less reliable, higher LID degradation, etc). So sticking to superior quality principles is good - if you can afford it. After the pandemic the middle class (the customer base for this type of panels) practically ceased to exist worldwide. The Chinese competition is fierce and so strong that it rendered the production of quality expensive panels financially ruinous for LG. Never forget that Chinese have provided themselves with the mineral resources by mining directly. Whereas the Koreans are buying at spot market values - which are now SHOCKINGLY expensive. Understandable situation and difficult, but necessary decision. I went for LG 365 NEON H Bi-Facial models. Carefully examined several panels under a microscope - the production quality is absolutely superior to that of Longi and the other competitors. I chose LG- they are 2x as expensive, but ... ask me in 20 years how they hold up. I bet they will deliver 95%.

@@atnstn I think in the actual market situation many customers would be more than happy to spend a bit more to avoid chinese Products - that was at least our primary driver. Slowly EU Production starts again but isn‘t up to the demand.

US government limited LG to sell their panels here, becaus3 they were better..i don't know how to explain better, but that all it is..

They will cease production of panels in Q2 this year, so this is the last chance for customers to install LG panels.
