Also, after first watch and evaluation I noticed some vertical banding on the left side of the screen with a faint black line down its center at certain high luminance levels. It seems to have dissipated after some use and now hard to detect. Is this just the pixels adjusting and settling in since it’s so new or should I be worried and replace the panel while I still can. Also, have you noticed any raised blacks while watching DV content in the Cinema or Cinema home picture modes? It was recommended to lower the brightness from 50 to 48-49 to counteract this. Thanks!

@@TVguyDarko I applied the settings for gaming to the game mode but I must say that the image is not the best, I find the brightnes mode more brilliant and defined but the colors are too bright. I'm looking for a good compromise for the gaming mode but I haven't succeeded yet, maybe the settings are not compatible with the BX or there is white to be calibrated but I'm not able to do it

When are you going to get your hands on the Sony a90j? you will love it lol
@TVguyDarko3 жыл бұрын
Really don’t know. If I’ll test a Sony TV, it would be something from the mainstream series.

What about using these settings with warm 1? Or is warm 2 still the best? Seems yellow
@TVguyDarko3 жыл бұрын
Hey Val - Warm1 is close, but Warm2 is generally closer to the reference D65 whitepoint. More details here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3uod6hogpenqpo

Hello. I have LG cx like you but when I watch Netflix or amazon I don’t get hdr list. How do I fix that? I don’t have access to the list

I'd like to know too. I only get HDR settings when using my PS5, and I have a high enough speed that HDR and 4k should be coming through

Pozdrav Ivan!

I purchased your SDR and HDR PDFs, but for Dolby vision, there is no “Cinema” setting on my tv. Right now I have it on standard, but there is also vivid, cinema bright, cinema dark and game modes available for Dolby vision. Can you elaborate on settings?
@TVguyDarko3 жыл бұрын
Hello Jeffrey! Thanks for the purchase. Which LG OLED model do you own? If Cinema is missing, then you can apply recommendations to the Cinema Dark which is the most precise out of the box.

@@TVguyDarko Thanks! I have a 2020 65" GX model. I should try Cinema Dark with the settings for HDR? Is that correct?

Hello friend, is it recommended to copy your 22 point settings?

Hello - not really, the values are individual for each TV.
